These use 9 SMD LED chips, not LED diodes which use in combination are brighter. This light produces brightness can be roughly compared to a 10 watt to 7 watt night light watt bulb. Partsam does sell a 6 LED diode model. I have one in the motor home's large holding tank compartment and it is 300% brighter however more expensive and of a larger physical size.
I have a Tested all I received and they all worked just fine. The wiring leads (black and red) are approx six inches of 24 gauge wire. Tested each at 13.2 vdc and the amp draw for each light assembly was "80 mA", that's .08 dc amps for novice electricians. Tested with a Fluke 77 DMM.
These lights will be just fine for use inside galley cabinets in my RV as their foot print is small. I checked the water proofing construction. It looks basic and minimal. To see pull of the rubber mounting boot which is removable. This boot is not intended to be water tight. With the boot removed you will find a thin coat of gray silicon over the back of the PCB, that it. I suspect with age the silicone and heat the silicon may pull back from the edges exposing the PCB. Should not be an issue if kept out of water and weather. I would not expose this lighting product in high temperatures such as an engine or RV generator compartment. For the price and my indented use I have no complaint, they will do the job.
