  • To protect electronics from damaging low voltages and prevent a deep discharge of a battery during an extended power outage, the LVD module will automatically disconnect the battery when the voltage falls below the user adjustable cutoff voltage. When power is restored the Smart Switch will automatically reconnect the battery. thereby protecting the battery from total discharge (helping to prolong the life of the battery).
  • Programmable voltage setting for Disconnect and Reconnect (rocker switch set to AUTO). With emergency ON or OFF function, if you want switch output to be immediate and remain ON or OFF, you can set rocker switch to ON or OFF.
  • Set rocker switch to AUTO, when the battery voltage drops to less than or equal Disconnect Value and continuously held for 5 seconds, load switch will OFF. When the battery voltage rise to greater than or equal Reconnect Value and continuously held for 5 seconds, load switch will return to ON state. this will better prevent malfunction.
  • Based on Microcontroller and MOSFET (on status resistance < 0.003 ohm), more precise voltage, smart and long life switch output. Green-red dual color LED indication for output switch ON and OFF.

Ok so looked great and worked great until i hooked it in system i used it to power a solenoid and it turned solenoid off at the correct voltage twice and no i didn't have a fly back diode i probably should have but by the third cycle it turned on and stayed on so i took it apart to figure out what happened and how it works and or try and repair if possible the transistor and driver chip where shorted causing it to never shut off

The issue is that it is transistor driven out put not a relay so any voltage spikes can and will kill it

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY TO DRIVE A SOLENOID WITH THIS WITHOUT A FLYBACK DIODE

Does exactly what you'd want. Simple to install, does one thing and does it well. It does kick off and then back on a time or two if there is a decent load that draws voltage down below the threshold. Once the load is gone, the battery will "recover" slightly. You can crank up the "on" voltage a bit if you need to resolve this.

The media could not be loaded.
 Installed to control a 200 amp relay to cut off my (2) 100 AH lifepo4 batteries so the inverter doesn’t drain passed 11.4 vdc. Though it worked great until it need to disconnect and it wouldn’t. Going to ask for a replacement and try another because ratings look pretty good.
Update received the replacement module and installed. Worked as advertised. I allowed it to cycle off and on a few times but opted to use a smaller more versatile model. It’s an open circuit board style not really liking that but it works better for my project.

You do not want to run your deep cycle batteries under 50% or you will have battery damage. 50% is about 12.1 vdc.
This device disconnects at 12.1vdc but will not turn back on if set to reconnect at 12.1vdc, the next option is 12.8vdc.

This means the bank shuts down at 12.1vdc and won't open back up until you have a full charge. You have the option to set 12.1 reconnect but the device won't do it. The disconnect overrides the reconnect so there is no reconnect event.

I didn't try this device until too late to return now I am stuck with it.

I purchased the CZH-LABS LVD Module to solve a peculiar battery discharge problem. My dash cam worked fine with a 2-lead hardwire kit which allowed discharge to 11.4 volts before cutoff. All was well until old man winter arrived to drain my 850 CCA lead acid battery EVERY time the car sat for more than 2 days.

That problem resolved IMMEDIATELY upon installing this module. I configured the switches for 12.1 disconnect and 12.8 reconnect. Now my vehicle can survive 6 days of idle and then crank right up on day 7 despite the frigid cold. Gotta love it!

I was setting this up with a new battery and dashcam. I was reading 12.4 but it was cutting off when set to 12.1. It starts right back up when the car is turned on and reconnect set at 12.8. I am concerned that the next lowest setting, at 11.4 is too low and defeats the purpose of the cuttoff for this application. I guess 11.4 cuttoff won't kill it enough to need to get a new battery, again. Lol
