The majority of customers use our Squadron Sport in Wide Cornering. It's split 50/50 on the color :)

Plug and Play, Fog Pocket Kit, Squadron Sport (White)
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/Toyota-Tacoma-Tundra-4Runner-Squadron-Sport-WC.asp

Plug and Play, Fog Pocket kit, Squadron Sport (Amber)
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/Toyota-Tacoma-Tundra-4Runner-Squadron-Sport-Amber-WC.asp

Each kit includes everything you need. Lights, mounts, plug & play wiring...it's all there!

I'm running S2 Sports as my Fogs with Squadron Pro's as a backup when not in traffic (I don't have a stock bumper tho).
If you are going to run in traffic the Sports still create a bit too much glare so you'd probably be better off jumping up to the Squadron Pro's and just don't run them in traffic. (See @BlueBottle 's build he does a good write up)

I'd give it a year. I talked to some of the BD guys in Baja and asked about the laser light. There's only 1 prototype right now. Said they'll be going into production soon.

At this time I can't put an exact ETA on that product. If the Laser Lights launch at the end of summer I'd imagine having a 20" version sometime in the fall.

Yes @ARamirez73 i had the sports and thought there was a bit too much glare to run them on the streets. I don’t want to be that douchbag blinding people. Also keep in mind I live In a metro area. I’m sure if you lived in the outskirts you may be able to get away with it. Since I couldn’t run the sports on the streets I said F it and got the brightest lights so came the pros and I don’t regret it one bit!

For you guys installing Squadron Sports/Pros into your fog pockets are you utilizing the oem fog switch on the steering column tree? Or does this require that switch to become obsolete and have a switch on the dash?

    Thanks

I use my stock switch for mine. @Baja Designs is it ok to use the stock switch for the pros?

Stock switch on the column. You just need the wiring adaptor that you can get from BD.

Our Plug and Play, Fog Pocket Kits plug directly into your factory wiring and utilize the factory fog light switch. If your vehicle doesn't have factory fogs then you'll have to install your own wiring. Here are the vehicle specific kits for the 14-18 Tundra:
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/Products/Toyota-Tundra-14-16-Lighting-Kits.asp

We offer two Sport Series Fog Pocket Kits and a stand-alone mounting kit. The stand-alone kit is for customers wanting the use Squadron Pros (here) or for those that want a different configuration than what's offered.

    Yep! Good-to-go

Factory wiring is rated high enough for either model of lights (Squadron Sport or Squadron Pro). XL80s... not so much :)

One last question. Do more Tundra owners buy the ambers or the whites in wide cornering? Any recommendations for mostly dark highway and backroads use?

It's split 50/50. Do you encounter poor conditions like rain, fog, dust, or snow?

Amber is great for reducing glare in conditions like these. It will provide more usable light over white in these situations. A lot still comes down to personal preference. The best thing is that the colors can easily be changed down the road thanks to our uService technology.

Campbell retired before LED bars were being used on bikes. And it was Hengeveld who did the night riding.

But I can't recall who won using this set up.

Hey guys, where should I wire in my s8’s running light to? I have a switch pros system so need an easy source to access from the hood bulge. Thanks!
