As I'm starting to build my TRD Pro for Overland use, I'm looking to upgrade the suspension to accommodate the additional load on the front of the vehicle. I'm installing a bumper, winch, lights, compressor, dual battery, etc. So about 250 additional pounds on the front. Unless someone offers a HD spring that I can swap onto the OEM front, I'll be unfortunately looking at a total overhaul. Possibly Icon or King. Anyone know what a Pro suspension is worth? I already have the Coachbuilders shims installed.

I would think it’s possible to buy some 700 pound springs and have them installed on your existing shocks. I don’t know what the spring rate is currently on the pro set up. Depending on the miles you have on them I would say you could get anywhere between 800 and $1200. To get more than that, it would have to be someone who really wanted them. Because beyond that price, most would like to go with something that is rebuildable and will perform even better. I personally like my pro set up. It’s perfect for me

There are a few guys here with a winch and pro suspension. Have you thought of moving some of that load to the rear of the truck? Put the battery in the bed and the compressor mounted under the bed or another location you prefer. Just to move things around.

For your reference when I was looking for takeoff suspension for my 2007 it looked like brand new non-trd was going for 150-200 on here plus shipping and brand new TRD NOT pro for 300-400 plus shipping. Thanks for calling me out, I don't think I've seen a Pro set for sale with any miles in my not so extensive search.

I've already mounted the dual battery and compressor in the engine bay. It was the cleanest way to do it for what I need.

Someone had the OEM springs tested at SDHQ and they measured 621 lbs. That being said, do you know who sells springs that'll fit the Pro? Not sure if these Bilstiens are unique or not. I know Old Man Emu makes some HD springs and I have an email in to them.

What type of bumper? Really heavy armor style? Maybe you could compromise and do a tube style front bumper and go with synthetic line to save some weight. Sorry, just trying to think of some alternatives for you.

No way! Never seen prices that low for Pro suspension. Maybe you were thinking TRD off-road?

I wish I had the answer for that one. I’m thinking they are exactly the same size as standard OEM springs but just tuned for the pro. So anyone that offers a replacement spring like oem or a shock company that requires use of your OEM spring, would be interchangeable. Hopefully someone could chime in and clarify.

I have a Camburg CTE bumper with a Warn Zeon Platinum winch with synthetic line and Rigid Lights. I'm looking for suspension solutions as I already have chosen my components.

Brand New Pro Suspension for $400? Where? Link? That's a freaking steal for a PRO suspension.

I know the Pro sits about 2" taller in the front than a non Pro Tundra. Not sure if it's due to a taller spring. Guess I have some more research to do. Was hoping someone already went this route.

@gosolo Has a hidden winch on his pro. Maybe he could give you some insight on the extra weight.

Yes, I believe due to a taller spring and maybe spring rate. Here's a side by side comparison.

Looks like a combination of taller spring and shock body. Maybe an inch of both?

Nah I just went with brand new 2018 SR5 takeoffs from ebay $185 shipped cause this truck is a "budget" extra vehicle. Now I'm wondering what it would turn into if I had stumbled on some Pro suspension.

I have stock pro suspension with a winch and bumper up front. Granted it’s the SSO Slimline bumper which doesn’t add a ton of weight since it’s just replacing the center of the oem setup. Between bumper and winch I probably added about 110lbs. I did also add 2 CB shims per side which helps with any sag from the added weight and it looks like you’ve already done that. I haven’t had any concerns with handling, etc. but you are adding a lot more weight.

I’ve seen Pro suspension sell for about $1200 used, I’d think you could easily get $1000-1200
