Toyota OEM Power Folding Tow Mirrors

!Maybe Not? Unsold? Maybe For sale again as not OEM as I originally thought but for sure they are power fold tow mirrors.

Never seen smoked lenses from Toyota.. intresting and you bought these from Toyota?

 

Previous owner had both clear and smoke lenses. They are OEM if that's that question.

Anyhow, they are now sold.

 

U probably mean OEM style but these are not OEM parts from Toyota. These are being sold for 150 on Facebook for 150 from a guy claiming he bought a warehouse full of these and other AFTERMARKET car parts. I honestly hope the buyer doesn’t think these are Toyota mirrors.

Roman's website link. Those are the mirrors that was for sale. NOT A1-Auto version. I don't know the FB guys and would not trust to buy from there as there are lots of scammer. Best of luck if you are planning to buy them for $150.

 

It’s alright my man no worries I don’t plan on buying anything aftermarket like these. @Roman does Toyota offer anything besides amber light for the tow mirrors? How bout LED lights with smoked lenses? Just to clarify.

someone just paid 500 bucks for aftermarket mirrors. I bought OEM mirrors from @Roman... and they look NOTHING like those. per site rules I cant say what I want to say... but... not cool..

 

My intention was not to be an ass in anyway honestly. But if I buy an item I want it to be what it says not something different you get me?

 

how do you know if they were not OEM mirrors? What's up with the hating. I've brought and sold on here numerous times and have never lie about what I'm selling. Just because you feel that they don't look real from 3 pics you assume they are aftermarket. Do some research and see if you find aftermarket tow mirrors that are power folding and look like the ones I sold. Check the fact and please don't call out my integrity if you have have the facts. I didn't try to capitalize a few bucks from people on here to give up my integrity.

agreed. im giving the seller the benefit of the doubt because I truly don't know if he knew exactly what he had. but I didn't know what would be considered inappropriate per site rules. im not trying to be a jerk either. in no way shape or form..

no hating here man. and like I said, I give you the benefit of the doubt, I honestly think you didn't know. but how do YOU know they were oem? I bought an oem set directly from Toyota. 1.They DO NOT offer a factory smoked lens. that's giveaway #1. 2.the glossy finish...not oem. 3. the shiny seals on the inside..not oem. again I didn't call you out on it because I don't think you were sure. that being said you should have stated that. they are OEM STYLE mirrors. Not Toyota, and definitely not what they cost per Toyota website.

 

No sir. They only offer the amber lenses, though I have seen aftermarket lenses that can be swapped out.

 

Umm, ok so I bought these and they just arrived this morning. I opened the box and they don’t look right to me, they have a foam gasket. I’m curious what the Toyota gasket looks like on the sail part. This comes with a foam like gasket and I’m used to seeing the full rubber sail with a foam piece that goes around the wiring portion only. Please if you could confirm, because I did just pay for these and I’m concerned they’re knockoffs. I specifically asked if they were oem multiple times.

 

Is there a part number on them?

 

We need an emoji of like a fish hopping out of water, as this seems a little fishy or a very close play on terms.

Those mirrors do not look like the Toyota OEM Tows we sell at our dealership. Similar, but not the same.

 

For everyone interested, the seller and I have resolved this. He issued me a refund and I am shipping them back to him as we speak. Thanks for everyone who is experienced with these parts for helping. This is why we use this community, people like me less experienced getting guidance from the vets!

Thanks for all of the feedback (especially resident part-man @Roman) verifying they were not OEM. I have refund the seller as it turns out I was not educated on the parts that I purchase and went on the fact that they were OEM per previous seller. I sat on these mirrors for sometimes and end up not using them and place them for sale on the same assumption. Now need to decide what I want to do with them.
