    Yeah... I wouldn't use a magnetized cradle.

    I currently have this...

... which puts my phone in the same location as this....

I have gotten used to this location, I find it unobtrusive and easy to glance at it for gps guidance purposes. I am leaning real heavy on getting the "grab bar" mount seen in the second pic and modifying it to take the magnetic system I am using.

Personally, I would advise against the phone with Cc's. If you misplace your phone your cards, id, etc are with it.

Why not just store your CC info on the card? Use the keychain app.

Looking for one that'll blend in with the truck as much as possible w/out standing out too much. Also going to get one for the Corolla.

    Thoughts?

I use the Quad Lock phone case and car mount. It's the best one I've come across and it hasn't fallen off yet. I just mount it on my windshield in the center or sometimes on the drivers side off to the left, just depends how I'm feeling. The case also goes with a arm strap for running and a bike mount if you cycle. I love that I can use one case and use it for running and cycling.

Here are some pictures of the the case and phone on my truck. You can mount your phone so it's vertical or horizontal. And here's the website but you can find them for less on Amazon or looking around on Google.

I had the vent style mount but my big ass phone blocked air out of that vent...sucked on a hot day.

That's exactly what I was thinking if I were to get a vent mount. Here in Houston we need all the AC we can get with temps over 100!!

After about 2 weeks of brainstorming and deciding how I wanted my phone mounted, I decided to go with a RAM ball mount that sticks to a part of my dash. I decided with a SlipGripCarMount with a RAM ball attachment courteous of Platinum14MBSC ingenuity. I didn't like how high he had his set up though. So i decided to get the RAM Adhesive Base and a small 3" RAM arm. May I present my favorite mod yet to the new Tundra.

My phone holder also does my dishes and cooks for me, but she isn't for sale. Even if she was, I doubt anyone could afford her. Heaven knows I can't.
