I also have a question.... if you buy front and rear it's 20% off. Does that stack with the discount from "X" number of people that also purchase bumpers? I'm very interested either way and will definitely be getting something. .... I'm a little in decisive right now

 

I'm sure Khens will chime in, but I'm almost certain it is not a cumulative discount. If you buy both front and rear you get the 20%.

 

Is the pic on the bottom a custom bumper compared to their normal lineup, because it doesn't match the rest. I actually like it a bit more because it extends all the way around.

 

maybe one of them running aftermarket fenders.

 

No, you can see the bumper itself is actually different if you zoom in. Look at the original pic on page 1

 

I see what you mean now. They look like different bumpers though. similar design but different.

 

Hi guys. Currently in traffic and want to respond to your questions. I have the answers for the wrap as well as discounts and will once I can stop and get on a computer! Thank you for your patience and understanding.

 

I will ask the guys at the shop what we can do. Lets try to get the county up to 10 units if possible. That will be an easier sell on my end.

 

So the tiers will not be stackable. If we get to the point where single unit are at 20% discount I will discuss with them the package deals and how we can make that a higher discount.

 

Great question here. Im glad this came up as there are minor differences that I discussed but forgot to incorporate into the original post.

The top photo is their "production" bumper and the one that will be specd out for this GB. The bottom picture is their "full wrap" and was a custom offering for a few customers. It does give a different look but some issues that came up with this style is that the plastic body pieces to the side of the grille and that mate up with the fenders sometimes sit differently from truck to truck so it can create some fitment issues. Secondly, if you install a full wrap bumper and decide down the line to go with fiberglass fronts for LT, the full wrap bumper bar will be inside of the wheel well and would require modification to work.

With this being said, they can do it, but they wanted it to be full disclosure that due to slight manufacturing differences of each truck, the fitment can be slightly off/different from one side of the truck to the other.

I hope this cleared things up.

I want in! 3rd gen front (winch option?). When would we be doing purchase? I just spent on new shocks, struts and tires and need some recovery time, but I may be able to get 1 more 2nd gen

I have a question in regarding the winch. I will call them tomorrow and see if we can get a response.

I will put you down for a 3rd Gen front. The GB is set to close on 6/14 (next Friday). If we get more interest we can extend it a week to hopefully get a higher discount level. 50% will be due at the time of GB close and the other 50% is due at time of pick up/install/shipping.

Let me know about the 2nd Gen and I can add that to the list as well.

6/6/19 Update

Steve got back to me regarding the few outstanding questions.

Winch Mount?
They can most likely incorporate the winch mount into the bumper. Steve and Alin would need the winch make/model and specifications to make a mount and fit it up.

Bull Bar off the top of the bumper?
Yes-absolutely can incorporate this into the orders. DM me specifics as we get close to closing out.

Blind Spot sensors?
These have not been incorporated into their bumpers. They are currently only able to relocate the proximity sensors front and rear.

Is there info about the evil manufacturing with KC lights? I read about the light with Baja designs s2. But with KC it seems actual brake lights and cargo lights are different or missing...... anyone have info?

 

From what I know evil manufactured them with the S2 in mind. SS built tested with the s2’s and found they’re really bright for that location, especially if you have someone tailing you.

I can reach out and find out the differences but as far as I know the KC Cyclone is the lights SS Built prefers to use in the Housing.

If you want I can send an email to find our specifics but I’d need to know what kind of specs you’re wanting to get back.

 

Ok, I guess what I meant was that there is built in LEDs for cargo and brake lights, plus the S2s (which I'm guessing are chase lights. The KC lights only seem to be the red and yellow.... so what are their functions?

 

What's the official number now? If we are in the 15% off then you can count me in on a gen 3 rear bumper. Anything on the KC lights either?

We are officially at 8 bumpers as of now. 3 more and we will be into the 15% discount range for those of you who are getting individual bumpers.

Also, Steve just replied and confirmed that the red cyclones act as brake light replacements and the ambers act as cargo lights and chase lights and are activated via the stock dash switch to the right of the steering wheel.

The S2 set up requires an additional switch to be installed.
