I found a picture of these on a Tundra... still looking for details.

The president of CCEI responded to my email this morning...

I need to take a measurement or two and speak with my local muffler shop before pulling the trigger on these, but it definitely looks like an excellent & inexpensive option.

Anything above stock diameter tubing will result in loss of low end torque using stock manifolds. Long tube headers are a different story... I would recommend dirty deeds to anything exhaust related.

The Powerstick & Cobrapack mufflers match the stock diameter, so there should be no loss of low end power. I had considered LT headers, but I've decided to keep it simple and go with a custom cat-back instead. Yes I have spoken with dirty deeds, but this looks like a better option for me.

Are you planning on dumping after the mufflers - like the picture - or merging the outlets into a y and tie into the tailpipe?

Either way, sounds like a unique setup. Looking forward to your feedback (and sound clips ) if you go this route.

I plan on an H pipe ahead of the mufflers, and I am not yet sure if I'll dump as pictured or extend pipes out the back. I am still researching, and looking for Dyno test results.

I had stock exhaust and Keith’s 8 inch system on my first Tundra. Current Tundra has TRD exhaust from factory.

I really like the sound of the TRD exhaust, but I do notice that the true duals don’t pull the truck up inclines as well as stock or 8 inch BAM in 6th gear below 60 mph. Fortunately I don’t tow so I don’t mind. Plus I don’t want to change the acoustics of the exhaust.

Another member - Ortho 281 I believe - started a thread detailing the addition of a H pipe to his TRD exhaust. It quieted the exhaust, but also regained low end torque. As long as you keep the pipe diameters stock, I think your muffler choice along with the crossover should work pretty good.

17TundraDCEd, that is what my research has revealed... I should be Golden if I keep the pipe diameter @ 2.5" to 2.75", use the longest Powerstick mufflers that will fit and use an H pipe cross-over ahead of the mufflers. The length of tailpipes doesn't seem to make a difference in power, but the longer the tailpipe the further away the sound is from the cab. There is a speed shop up the road from me, I will drop in and ask their opinion on my plan.

Has anyone seen dyno test results for these mufflers on a 5.7 Tundra?

There are dyno tests for the TRD exhaust which show around 7 to 10 torque and hp increases at the wheels. The tests start at around 3500 rpms on up.

Keith has spoken on this at length - any straight through muffler, like the ones you are looking at, or TRD or his BAM will get similar increases. I think he claims 3 hp and 10 to 20 lb/ft with his systems.

You don’t want drone and don’t want to loose lots of low end torque. The h pipe and right sizing the pipes should address this.

I have read customer feedback on the Powerstick on another forum that goes all the way back to 2007, not a single complaint about drone from these. Mine will be between 30" & 40" in length, and they will be packed with sound deadening material. These mufflers and the H pipe should keep it relatively quiet, and drone free.

I would tend to agree. The TRD mufflers are 26 inches each and packed and they don’t drone either. There is a bit of a fluttering chopper sound at really low rpms - which I don’t consider drone (others might), but the h pipe should address that.

I had powersticks on my 2010 rock warrior, no drone at highway cruising speed, good idle sound, and sounds like a 70's muscle car when getting on it, I loved them and got compliments everywhere i went about the sound. I am in the process of getting stuff ordered to replicate that exhaust on my new tundra.

H pipe in front of the sticks, or Y pipe with single tail-pipe after the sticks?

Neither no h-pipe on 2010 and true dual side exit @ rear corners of the bed. Will add h-pipe or X-pipe on new truck but I don't remember any loss of torque or power, definitely gains in the upper end, low end seemed like more torque but never dynoed, I was totally happy with the set up.
