    Good looking truck RLHOK!

I wanted to buy the TRD pro in 2015. After seeing I could get the Platinum for the same price as the Pro I decided to get the Platinum. My buddy who is a general manager could give me a price break on a Platinum but not a Pro. I still like the TRD Pro truck but I would end up changing everything on the suspension anyways. Lol

The one I looked at was $48K...as previously said I can get a platinum or 1794 for that price range. Don't get me wrong I like everything about the PRO and would enjoy it..

Just depends on what you like or want. What made the decision for me is I don't plan on taking my Tundra off roading much. I have a JEEP for that. I do use my 4x4 Tundr at the beach and in Colorado. After having all the features of the Platinum it's been very enjoyable.

The Pro wasn't even a rumor when I bought mine, but since it came out I love it, it's like the one that got away. My truck is black, they are all great but that is my favorite. No dealerships around had any Pro's. Then shit luck a co-worker goes to the dealership and they have a Black CrewMax Pro in stock (my unicorn at the time), he bought it, keep it for a few months, put about 5k miles on it, then traded it for a Ram. :annoyed:

This is why you keep a separate bank account and just tell her what she wants to hear!

Yup. He should've known better, he had a RW before the TRD Pro. I think he over paid for the Pro and the payment was crushing him. He never keeps anything long so I'm sure he will have something else before the RAM's repair bills total it.

Yeah, well he was supposed to sell me the RW (mint, never driven, black CrewMax) then he backed out the day I was to pick up the cashier's check... put me in a bind because I had arrangements to sell my Tacoma to a friend (dealer). That's how I ended up with a new 14', so I don't feel too bad for him, haha.
