I am thinking about using one of these Pro Clip mounts for my Garmin. It is too far away on the windshield and I don't want to permanently tear up my dash to mount a disk. I tried a stick on disk center dash under the removable mat but the rubber is too slick for it to stick. Even before I get off the pavement, New Orleans is too bumpy for one of the bean bags sitting on the dash.

Anyone done it? If so, standard questions: How did it work, any issues, etc.?

I've used it in three different trucks. It speaks for itself in that I keep moving it into every truck I get :D Very satisfied.

Since you have moved it from truck to truck, any damage after removing it?

Negative. It uses 3M tape. A little finesse to remove it and a little GooGone to clean up and I never knew it was there.

I had one for a long time now. I love it. The only complain I have is that I rotate my phone portrait to landscape all the time and fixing screw coming loose time to time, but I keep spare small screwdriver in my glove box and its a quick fix.
