I came across a local seller for some OEM Headlights from his 2017 Tundra Platinum edition.
He said the headlights are LED DRL w/ motor (for adjusting from inside truck).

My question is, would this fit on my 2017 Tundra SR5? I currently have halogen headlights.
If so, would I need a conversion harness and/or DRL harness?

    Thanks.

You'll need an adapter harness, those sound like the older style with halogen bulbs and single LED strip.

Oh! So it's not fully LED? I guess my best option is the OEM 2018 LED Healights?

Yes I would get the 2018+ LED headlights since you’d need an adapter harness anyways. The 2014-2017 Platinum/1794 headlights only had the LED DRL strip, the actual headlights were still halogens.

I had the same trim as your 2017. I did a nOEM LED conversion with ihacker harness. Super easy to do, you won’t regret it. It’s one of the most popular mods.

    Oh! Sweet tip!
Sorry, pretty new to all this. What is nOEM? Might you have a link perhaps? Btw, is that what you have in your profile?

Yes. In factor here’s a better picture. OEM (Original equipment manufacture). Use the link below to browse through the headlights and contact @Roman to order headlights and @iHacker for the harness.

I swapped my headlights out with a factory set of the Platinum headlights with just the single LED strip underneath. I did not have the desire to fork out the money for the OEM 18+ LED headlights. I gave $175 for mine and wired them into the ignition power on.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I really like the 2018 OEM but the cost is the downside. Not sure if i should fork up the cash.
How do you like the headlights you have? Any pics perhaps?

Agreed depends on your budget. I got my headlights used from one of the member on here and bought a new harness.

I went with the 2019 TRD Pro in Black. I got the harness through Headlight Revolution.

I don't have any of them turned on. But they light up as soon as my key is turned on in the truck. I probably need to rewire them to when the truck is cranked they come on. I need to track down a wire to tie power to on that if anyone following this thread has an idea on that one.

I LOVE my TRD Pro LED headlights! Harness from @iHacker worked like a charm. I also didn’t want to spend the money so I tried a poor mans route at first and just installed some LED bulbs in the OEM halogen housing and it wasn’t any better.

I sold my old halogen housings which helped offset some of the cost.

Thanks a bunch for the input. Was a big deciding factor between going LED Headlight upgrade or exhaust.. i might benefit from exhaust more if the price is nearly the same until I come across a good deal.

I considered the same thing, then gave in during Black Friday. Love the refresh they gave the front end along with the honeycomb grill I installed.
