Every time I see a post about rear sway bars, it seems that the issue of rear axle articulation comes up regarding offloading. Has anyone built or found quick disconnect end links for the rear sway bar. I just measured mine and it comes out perfectly at 14" from the center of one bolt to the other.

Contact Helwig. Helwig makes an awesome anti-sway bar and I seem to recall you could get quick disconnects.

I ended up going to the hardware store and grabbing some 1/2"x 3" clevis pins with multiple pin holes in them. I might swap my bolts out for them tomorrow and see how they do. Im guessing without mounting a stud securely to either the end link or the sway bar, I will have some amount of play, but hopefully not enough to have an ill affect. I'll post pictures when I get them installed.

Just talked to Hellwig and the only thing they make quick disconnect end links for are Jeeps and early Bronco's.

Word is that sway bar disconnects are being developed by one of the vendors here. Should be released shortly.

Care to share those details or are you going to keep the disconnects all for yourself? :p

it was mentioned to me while I was on the phone ordering some other things to complete my build. I don’t want to put the cart before the horse if that wasn’t exactly public knowledge. He did say they were really close to building up stock levels to satisfy initial demand.

I posted just so folks who may be contemplating some less than ideal DIY options would know that a very reputable vendor here was already on it and close to releasing another high quality suspension product for our trucks. Seemed to me like it would be released within the next three months.

I still have the quick release pins but forgot about this until now. I really don't have a need for quick disconnect end links, but it would be nice to know if they exist!
