Getting new wheels and tires and I think instead of transferring out of the old ones I'm just going to get new ones so I know the batteries in them will be good for a while.

Truck is a 16 Limited with TRD Offroad Wheels but I'm getting Aftermarket now (aluminum of course).

Can someone tell me what TPMS I will need to buy 4 of for the new wheels?

You can go to your local mom and pop shop that does tires or if you have a place or know of a good tire place in your area that does tires. Shop I went to said it’s cheaper to buy new ones. Said it’s time consuming and if we don’t pull everything off the right way or if something would happen when pulling off, that would have to get kits to rebuild the factory sensor. Basically wanted to charge me 80 just for breaking down. Bought new ones mount balance install reprogramed all for $255. Couldn’t beat it. But I would definitely not pay for Toyota’s sensors. I have no problems 7k on new ones. I had a choice of black just rubber look or gray like factory ones. So now I kept my old set for winter use. Watch where you go and don’t pay for the factory. Very expensive. Good luck

You could also hit up @Roman to see what you actually need. He will hook you up if you decide for factory or maybe other advice. Hooked me up along with many. My go to guy. Just looking out for tundra to tundra brothers.

Yes, there are 2 styles of sensors the 20 degree and the 40 degree, as you identified.

When I bought my SCS Ray 10 wheels, I was told by SCS that they require the 20 degree sensors. They said that the 40 degree sensors are used in the factory steel wheels.

That said, you should check with the manufacturer of the wheels you are getting to verify which sensors are needed for your wheels.

I would just by-pass the system, digital tire pressure gauge is cheaper. Or can't you put new batteries in the sensors you already have that are programmed to your truck.

I used 42607-0C070 for my SCS wheels for my 2017. You also need a tpms fit kit as well. 04423-0C170. Hope that helps

I was referring to using the ones he already has, the batteries last for 10 or more years..
End of thread as far as I'm concerned.

But please continue to make something simple, complicated.....

You were in such a hurry to be a toxic prick that you didn't even realize (or care) that I was the one that asked the question! If you hate the fact so much that I am asking for specific answers in this thread, just don't post in it! I don't want to take the original sensors out. I am getting new tires for the new wheels and want to leave the original wheels and tires set up with the original TPMS intact either for future use or for someone else if I decide to sell them.
