Coming around sharp turns in the pitch black mountains, I often can’t see what I’m turning in to. What are products or advice you’d recommend to widen my vision in the pitch dark.

    Quick & least expensive fix:

you can change the fog light bulb to LED (typically have much higher lumens than OEM) and it will scatter the light. Just use it in the mountains otherwise it may bother other drivers.

The OEM fog lights are useless anyway so you won't be missing anything. you can see the sides much better with LED bulb (in old housing) but it won't be as good as ditch lights but will be a quick/cheap option.

LED bulbs used in incandescent housing will scatter the light.
Also make sure you research H11 vs. H16 compatibility ... iirc, there are some threads here about it. I think Tundra takes H16 and H11 may not be %100 compatible but I'm not sure. Just research some before buying the LED.
Also either halogen or hid can melt the housing but LEDs are ok. Another research for you in case you got interested in hid ... lol

I have @Caliraisedled ditch lights on @brimy311 brackets.
It is exactly what you would want for a start. After that, a full LED light bar with a wider pattern would be step two.

I have a lot of dark roadways where I live and a lot of deer. Bought the Sport SS3 Fogs and they are street legal. I can see 10’ on each side of the tree lawn area.

I just replaced my oem LED fogs with these in the yellow version to help with rain/snow/dust visibility and they are a great improvement. I can now see even further out to the sides and they have no ill effect for oncoming drivers.

Yep, so for BD lights like Squadron Pro, does Fog= Wide Cornering or Work/Scene
