Went with 6112/5160 with AAL and SPC UCA. Nothing earth shattering but it will be nice to update my well-worn suspension. Had the springs powder coated red, got new bushings for the rear, and going with the top setting + shim for a 3” lift. Also just bought a 2016 armrest that I am going to retrofit it along with the OEM wireless charger into the 2nd gen (am I the first to give this a go?). Anyhow, pics to come.

Suspension is in and it has made the truck feel so much better. Coming from OEM original suspension (yellow/blues with 110k) it feels brand new again. Happy I powder coated the springs as it just ties it all together. Now my tires look too small, but that’ll be rectified in the fall when these are on their way out. Gen 3 armrest is coming on Tuesday and I am dropping both armrests off at an automotive upholstery shop so they can make that happen. More pics to come.

Very nice truck man ! Wish I had went with red on my springs instead of white now that my wheels have some red accent in the center. But any way your truck is super nice I love the headlights too. Here is my truck you can see the white spring .

The 4x4 Place in Jersey. Really can’t say enough about Andrew and his team. The parking lot alone speaks volumes to the work they do. Crazy jeeps, land cruisers, old Broncos. Highly recommended and great online reviews. Wasn’t cheap, but it came out perfect.

I want to do the power folding tow mirrors, but the streets here are tight as is. But they make the truck look much tougher for sure. Your truck is dope - like the vinyl!

Thanks man ! Mine are manual I wish they where power folding but they are nice for pulling a camper. The vinyl turned out pretty good satin black is a pain to keep clean. But I have found that chemical guys has a hood product for it.

All in with the powder coating, fabtech UCA’s, 6112 and 5160’s, AAL, all new U-bolts, repairing a brake line that was leaking, and alignment was around $2700. Not cheap, and I’m sure I could have found somebody do to it cheaper, but these guys know their stuff and it was well worth it for me. I don’t have the time to crawl around under a truck on jack stands these days.

I'm about 20 miles Northeast of the bridge.
