Milkman here with the stank report.

No milk odors noted in the area.

However there is a clear odor of rain lingering in the air....

Those are the original blanks. I cut them down to fit over the mount for a cleaner look.

@Levy nice work. That frame looks new again. Did you use POR15? Did you grease rub or do anything to protect it after you painted it?

there are probably better ways but used a needle scaler to get the bulk off prepped with a flapper disk, pressure washed applied the rust remover spray waited 30 minutes repressure washed and then used a 4 in one spray paint from my local paint store

Anyways, me and my oldest got out of town and into the Tortalita mountains. I got lots of pin stripes, nice battle damage on aluminum rims, cracked the front bumper. But we had a blast!

Oh ok. I think @SoCalPaul drilled one into the top of his snugtop and that's what I thought you meant. I'm probably going to do something similar to his.

Ok thats what I am looking for. I have fog lights in mine right now but I guess I should buy a Fog cover and the mount. What Bracket do you have attached to the cover?

Ah true. My snugtop is pretty rough and I need to get it painted so I will probably wait.

I used the Rigid 40155 bracket. I think there's a new version available now, but I don't know what might have changed.

You don't really need the blanks, but the bracket isn't quite the same shape so there are gaps otherwise. Trim them slowly if you do. It's a fairly precise fit to get them flush and still snap in place.

Without the blanks as a cover.

Made more progress on the LED conversion.
Sylvania 194s and a Sylvania Zevo 211 for the dome. Color is a bit off, but I'll replace it once it bothers me enough or it burns out.

If you ever try any other LED's, these are the best I have found so far. Super bright and super white:

I took my 14WA brakes and had them milled yesterday 3.5mm to align the rotor correctly. Cost me $60 for both. Then I wired wheeled them, brake cleaned them and painted them black. I plan to do the same to the rear drums just to clean them up.

Not sure when I will get to switching them out just yet.

Put all my trim and tailgate back on the truck. I used some FUZE under the plastic caps, they fit super goofy if just one plastic tab is out of place. I’ve got a 5gal water can on one side and a nipple tray on the other holding the corners down. Passenger side didn’t want to sit down as far, oh well

Stuck a Safety Seal plug in the tire this afternoon. Was a straight in puncture nearly center tread. Pretty sure this kit has saved me well over $100 in tire repairs since I bought it.

Door lights aren't terrible but they'll only come out one direction. A small screwdriver on the narrow side and they'll pop out pretty easily.

Found my original floor mats today while doing some yard work. I questioned pops about them. He told me in 2009 he took them out, and pressure washed them. He never got around to reinstalling. What a shame.

Anyways they are up for sale LOL

You know... they are likely all nylon & plastic. Wonder what would happen with a pressue washer, besides all the splash back.

I'll have to investigate that later on. I only found 1 of the front and 1 of the rear. Not sure which they are. I didn't spend that long on them.

I do not think my truck is worthy of being on this forum because of how filthy it has been on the inside. I knew it was stained up here or there, but had no idea how much was everywhere.

I will clean this up to the best of my abilities.

This is no where near hand model status

I used to detail cars. I've not had great luck with over the shelf carpet cleaners. My go to is Tuff Stuff but it's ok.

Honestly, I've had more luck with a bucket of hot water and Dawn. The pros use machines which work the best. Vacuum it as good as you possibly can before putting any water down.
