Does anyone know if 37” tires will fit on 20” rims with a 6” lift? Anyone also know if I run 37’s do I have to re gear my truck? I’m running 35’s now but they look really small with all the space in my wheel well.

I’m on a 3 inch lift and 37s on 18s. You might want to look at the dirty sevens forum they might have more info for you.

I had 35’s on 20” Methods. Just switched to 17” Icons with the 37’s and I did do a body mount chop up front because of rubbing. And will likely be re-gearing in the future.

I'm sure this was resolved long ago, but Tuesday I am having a 6 inch lift and 37x12.50r20 tires put on my factory 20 inch wheels. I bought the appropriate spacers to give me an offset of what the Suprrlift lift kit says is required, which is +18 to +20. Ain't but one way figure out if it will work or not, so here we go!

37s on stock suspension and stock 20” wheels. No lift. Rubs swaybar in full lock going reverse. Otherwise no rubbing. It’s a huge misconception that higher lift = more clearance.

You should be regearing on 35s and 37s. Your truck will feel light years better with 5.29s

This is the end result. 6" Superlift, 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers, OEM 20" TRD Wheels, 1.5" wheel spacers. Minor trimming as stated required, absolutely zero rubbing anywhere, even off road.

I ran spacers on the rear of my long travel truck, i run them on all 4 corners of my current truck. Ive personally never seen an issue with them when installed properly. Guys jump long travel trucks with them in the rear all the time

    That looks really good!
Does a lift kit need wheel spacers to clear rubbing issues? Find a blog talking about this.
I'm a little confused, are offset rims better or spacers?

    Thank you!

For my exact application (20 inch factory TRD wheels, 6 inch Superlift kit and 37 inch tires), yes, the 1.5 inch wheel spacers are a must. You can go MORE than 1.5 inches, but not less (with those wheels). As far as ANY lift needing spacers, I do not know. I just know that Superlift says that at least 20 inch wheels are necessary for this lift. For 20x8 wheels, an offset of +18 to +20 is necessary. The offset for my factory 20 inch TRD wheels is +55, but a 1.5 inch spacer takes that down to +17, if my math is right.

Something else worth noting is that contrary to what some people and companies say, 12.50 inch wide tires DO fit perfectly on an 8 inch wide wheel.

As far as "Which is better?" on a spacer or a wheel, IMO it doesn't really matter. All that matters is getting the right offset for whatever lift kit you choose.
