I installed an LED interior light kit from precision LED in my 2020 Tundra. The LEDs caused interference with my transponder. I was unable to lock or unlock the doors until the lights shut off. I have a Limited with push button start if that makes a difference. Does anyone know of a kit that will work with no issues in a 2020? Also, are there any kits that have vanity mirror bulbs that will not blind you? Thanks guys!!

Welcome. Mine cause the same problem. I’ve also had issues with my garage door opener and LED bulbs.

Yup, I heard about garage door openers having an issue with LED bulbs. Oh well, I will wait until a good kit comes out. I just wish they come out with a LED kit that is not super bright. I like the white light but some are waaaaaay too bright!

I researched this quite a bit before putting LEDs in my 2020 TRD Sport, apparently it’s got something to do with the frequency given off by the LEDs interfering with the key fob receiver. Ordered a set of fyre flys from Amazon, put them all in and had this issue, got ahold of their customer service and they sent me out replacement map and cargo lights that did NOT interfere. I’ve got zero issues with my key fob and some awesome LED interior lights

Cool! Are they over the top bright? Also, did you get the vanity mirror lights too? Those can be blinding bright! That I do not want! What kit did you get? I think they have two kits.

I got the 3014 kit, included vanity lights, map, dome, bed cargo, footwell (driver side) and license plate bulbs. They’re not blinding but they are crisp white light that’s definitely brighter

Anthony605...... Did your kit include the bed cargo lamps..???
I was reading that these were the bulbs that were causing the interference . i bought the cheap kit ( $26 ) from Amazon, but have not gotten around to installing them yet, but when i do. i wasn't going to put the cargo bulbs in.

The kit did include the cargo lamps. They may have been the main source of the problem. I am going to look for other options. Leesman had a good suggestion with the Fyre Flys kit. Leesman, do you have any pictures of the install? I wanted to see how bright the vanity (sun visor) lights are. Thanks

I went VLEDs in my ‘20 Pro. Zero issues for 3 months now. Gotta be careful with that Amazon China stuff!

I got jdm astar leds for the entire interior and all white lights on the exterior, no issues with any and they’re way cheaper than most.
