Were you doing all your suspension work in the gravel too? Or do you have a carport to work in/under?
    I’ve been carrying a S&W .357 for bear.........I hope that’s enough, I don’t know what your friend has but now I’m worried.

I have a carport to work under but it is not wide enough, often. I cant fully open both front doors at the same time. SO I am often backing out, pulling in the sideview mirror, then pulling in again. It gets shade until about 1:30 pm.
    Yeah, I am nuts.

he knows I backpack out in nowhere land...but i can't even be bothered to carry bear spray. too much weight.

Fished wire and installed speakers this morning. Tomorrow will be doing more of the same. Rear speakers sound good. Fronts go in tomorrow.

Figured up another low cost lighting idea that will be roughed in for future use.

Not today but a few days ago I luckily stumbled upon these for an amazing deal. Need a rebuild and complete clean up but will be putting them on my truck as soon as I can. Also found out JBA finally has 1st gen UCA’s so will be ordering a set of those to go with.

2 new sway bar links & no more clunk! Bonus - while giving it a once over (decided I basically need all new pads/rotors/drums) they seem to have removed that air bubble from the brake lines. I've got Brakes! again w/o the pre-pump. Not BRAKES, but Brakes which are so much nicer than brakes.

Living on an island, @Professional Hand Model wouldn't understand the difficulties of getting stuff out of the back seat of an access cab parked next to another vehicle like us city workers have to do.
Fortunately, I recall my youthful ninja access training.

Looking forward up into the driver side boxed frame. Those metal folds and overlaps are why I plunge greased my frame and do regular PB Penetration Sprays. The Penetrator gets all up into the folds/welds and stops any corrosion from occurring. Anyone have a recco on those body frame hole plugs that stop the water from blowing in?

Became a boat owner. Guy I bought it from had a 2007 tundra that had 22k on it! Got it from a guy who’s dad passed away right after he bought it. We talked tundras for a while. Good guy! Told him about us, maybe he’ll join!

Spent about 2 hours compiling a list for doing the Timing Belt Job. The list is about 80% complete. Taking a break from it for a while as all the part numbers have diminished the drain powers. Did it make any difference? I don't know that mine's ever been done, and while I know it's preventative maintenance, I'm curious if it will improve any performance.

I only drove it for about 20 minutes so far. Seems smoother & seat of the pants dyno wants it to be faster, but mine ran fine before. Just catching up on maintenance. In a couple of tanks I’ll know if it makes any MPG difference.

Definitely a great option! Truck bed is supposed to be temporary until I get to my new house where I can store a trailer. But it’s gonna be a month or so. Thanks for the link!

Yes. Makes a nice difference in idle smoothness. You should do yours and go ahead and tighten up your throttle cable whist in that area. You’ll be stoked!
