Anybody running 255/80R17 on Stock Wheels with or without lift? I highly doubt you could get away with running this tire without a lift, but post pictures either way.

Please don't post pictures of trucks with non-stock wheels or 16" wheels or anything other than STOCK 17's.

Why? For example, the black truck posted below, I've had those pictures saved on my machine for about two years now. I don't need to see them again.

Here is my truck on 34x10.5x17 BFG on stock wheels. Basically same measurements as the 255. I like them a lot and give me the height without the power loss I experienced with 285/75/17’s.

    Perfect, thanks!

I wanted to see how they looked inside the fenders.

Are you lifted or stock height? Do you rub at all?

Bilstein 5100s on all 4, second highest setting (cant put highest setting in 4wd), there is 99% no rubbing. I don't notice rubbing physically when driving but the UCA (stock) has some dust rubbed off so there must be a small amount of rubbing if that's happening. I offroad often and go full articulation sometimes so that's probabaly when it happens.

Awesome, I was pretty set on 285/70/17 but the 255 you run seem to be better in speedometer correctness and let's face it, a taller and skinnier tire does well in 75% of situations. Most RTW vehicles choose this type of tire with good reason.

Looks good! Those are BFG KO2, or another model?

Seems like every truck I run across with KO2s causes me to double-take. Yours is no different.

Here's a good angle with view down along fenders. (El Capitan in the background, Yosemite NP)

    Cooper Discover ST Maxx 255/80/r17

funny enough I'm looking at 285/70/17 for my 2nd set. Currently running 265/70/17 KO2 pulled off a taco and they're a little small.

Was your power loss because of added weight of wider tires? I am debating between 285/70 17 or 285/75 17. Or the 255/80 17. Need to pull trigger soon

Pizza cutters are the way to go IMO. I'm running 33x10.50R17's and it's the perfect combination.

I recently got Toyo R/T trail 255/80r17 on stock rims and shop put about 42 psi. Lowered to 25 psi when off-road.

That's a sharp looking 1stGen. Something about the picture angle/tires/wheels/stance just makes it look perfectly proportionate.
