    Hello All

I just purchased and installed Morimoto XB on 2013 Tundra dbl Cab. I notice that my High beams are not working when switch on. My low beams/DRL/Turn signals all work fine. Just having issue with high beams on both right and left side. Has anyone had an issue with this? I have reach out to the company and waiting for a response back from them. Other then that I love love the lights they look hot. Cant wait to get this issue fixed. Thanks for Reading

If I had to guess I would say you didn't get the high beam connector seated all the way. That one was a little tricky on mine when I did the install, when I first connected it I thought I had it seated good but it was making contact on the edge of the connector which wouldn't let it go all the way in. I had to fiddle around with it for a min and then it popped right in, problem solved. I agree, they do look amazing and work even better than they look :) Hope that helps you out

    Hello
Just giving an update on my high beam issue. Its now working. How i fix the issue was i reseated both high and low beam connections and power on the truck and both high and low beams came on with no further issue. I'm loving these lamps. They are a so so upgrade from the stock lights!!!! So now on to the fog lights will be tackling that project this weekend and will report back how the install went. Thanks again for everyone advice. :D

    Hello All
Just finished installing the Morimoto XB Fog lights. That went pretty easy. The tough part is taken out the original fog light. if you never done it. Once its out you just have to pop out the lamp from the plastic housing it sit in and then putting the new one in is a snap. and then popping the plastic housing back into the fog light cut out of the truck and then putting all the fasteners that hold the unit to the truck and then the two remaining screws. Hit me up if you have questions.

Would you say this was a good investment? Since you said it was "so, so" from stock. Doesnt sound like it was worth the price tag?

The reason i said so so. Cause I was bum that I had issue with my brights. That came down to me installing them, I was in a hurry and it was hot outside so I rush threw the install. If I had of taken my time they would have work correctly the first time. They are definitely a whole lot brighter at night, more clearer as far seeing way down the road at where your driving. So yes its good investment. There are other brands on the market that are a little less money. I dont think they are as plug in play as these are. Would i buy them again. Yes yes. also the price included the fog lights so I didn't pay extra for the fog lights. Its a special they are having on the website. Let me know if you have other questions.

Gotcha. That makes more sense. The real concern was whether it was brighter for night time, and you've now answered that. Sounds like a good purchased after all.

    Hey

Even the day time running lights are freaking bright. Its like having your headlights on during the day and its just the DRL. I will take pics and post them.

I was just going to say the same thing regarding the grease. What I did was unplug it and reseat it twice and it finally click this the High Beams working. Oh and it will click.

I thought I saw a rumor that Morimoto was going to redesign the XB Headlamps to address some field issues. I'd like to buy the Headlamps and Fog lamps as I have been upgrading my front end. Anyone know if that is true or not?

@GijoeTundra14 where did you buy the lamps and any discount codes?

I'm having the same issue. Gonna try to reseat the connectors with some dielectric grease. Mine didn't seem to click in as well either. Thanks for the post.

I had the same/similar issue. No high beams. I reseated every connection after an ample dose of dielectric grease, and seated until I heard and felt solid clicks on everything. Now every aspect of DRL, low beam, high beam, and fogs work as expected/intended. I am VERY pleased.

Same here! Just had to get them seated nice and tight.
