After seeing the thread about Home Depot basically giving away Plano storage boxes, it got me thinking about getting something that is the width of the bed for more storage space. I missed out on the Plano sale.
Would think plastic would be the best way to go but if there are any metal ones out there that are weather proof, I’d be up for that as well.

Is there a reason to not just buy a cross bed toolbox already designed and made to do exactly this job?

You could also get a Jobox or Jobsite Box and get something tough to steal or break into at the same time.

I would definitely be interested in a cross bed toolbox. Honestly didn’t know what they were called. The first one you posted looks perfect. I have a Tonneau cover, for now, so I’d need it to fit under that.

Thanks for the shout out! We also wanted to let you all know we have a new toolbox coming out in the next few months so stay tuned for big things from DECKED!

Plus, even if you are loading up a dirt bike the DECKED system is a great way to keep your gear dry and secure even after needing to wash your bike after a ride.
