Yes. The only thing left that’s Ruger original is the receiver and bcg.

I shoot 40 gr. CCI copper plated round nose mini mag ammo. 1235 FPS. The dead-air “Mask” knocks the noise down considerably. No crack and very comfortable without earmuffs. When I put the mask on my Walther P-22 with the same ammo it sounds like the movie silencer sound effect. Bottom line... you don’t need subsonic ammo to benefit from suppression.

The .308 with my “Nomad” likes 155gr Hornady BTHP rounds, 2700FPS. Obviously not subsonic, but very quiet. 1 MOA at 1000 yards. Goes transonic at about 1050 yards.

My first AR, Bought naked as a cheap budget build from my gunsmith. Then added Primary Arms optic, cheap 50$ Aluminum backup sights, vertical grip, Sling and rail covers. Taken back to re tighten a loose gas block that Quickly turned my first range trip into a waste. Went through 3 quick mags without a malfunction after and seemed OK, so looking forward to getting back out to finish dialing it in and have a longer range session with it.

Picked up a Sig 938 while on vacation. 1st time I’ve bought a gun while my wife was present, thought I’d catch an earful when we got back to the car, but she surprisingly went along with it.

Sig 938 Spartan. I liked the color more than the grips and they might be swapped out.

I found some brown G10 grips in CDNN for my combat model. I don’t know if they still have them or not.

My Marlin lever gun collection. All are Pre-Remington. From left to right, 39a .22 rim fire, 1894s 44 Magnum, 336 30-30, and 1895 45-70. Lever actions have always been my favorite. I have a few more on my bucket list I wanna get.

After me and the wife took our CCW class yesterday, they gave us a coupon for $25 off and firearm and 15% off all ammo and accessories. Didn't really need anything, but decided to add a cheap little plinker to the stable. Got a Ruger Wrangler and it ended up being $164. Bought a 500 round brick of some Aguila .22lr ammo. Looking forward to messing around with it on the backyard.

I had originally ordered it for my AI, but after playing around with it awhile, I ordered another. Only complaint is that it doesn't dig in well. I ordered a couple different claw feet to try out, I think that'll take care of that issue when shooting out in the pastures.

I have a sentimental feeling towards Marlin just Bc my dad gave me a .22lr bolt action which he had as a kid and he passed away in Jan. Looks like this:

They're great guns and will last forever. I'm very sorry for your loss. I lost my dad about 8 years ago. It's still tough.

I few years ago I sent 2 barrels to class3machining in Dallas texas. i shipped on Monday and had back the same week. They are used by Capital Armory and a lot of gun shops. A local gun shop wanted $250 per barrel and wanted 4 weeks. With shipping and insurance, I paid less than $250.

Good to know, thanks. I have a topper ordered and install setup in Denver next month. Going to run up to Mile High Shooting and have them thread it while I'm up there and see if there's anything I can't live without lol.
