Hey guys my name is Jamie and I am new to the tundra site and tundra. I started my Toyota truck obsession with a Magnetic Grey 2013 Tacoma 2wd Double Cab Short Bed TRD Off Road. I then found TacomaWorld and started modding the truck like crazy. Then I decided I needed a 4wd so I traded the 2013 Taco for a Magnetic Grey 2014 Tacoma 4WD Double Cab Short Bed TRD Off Road. I was very pleased with that decision then I decided to put a long travel suspension on it and it went down hill from there. When I was using the truck off road it was amazing and I loved every second of it but I was always worried something was going to break. And daily driving it was difficult it made a lot of noises and acted like a sail in the wind and made it tough to drive. So after having a few issues I decided to say screw it and get a full size and use it for a daily driver I can tow with if I decided to get a toy. I have always been around chevy's my dad has 2 of them a 2008 1500 and a 2010 2500 diesel. I knew that I did not want one of those and the new ones interior is hideous. I then looked at the fords and it seemed to me that you could not get anything with a nice interior for less than 45,000 so that was out. And a good friend of mine drives a Ram with a hemi and the transmission on it sucks so that was a no go. I drove the tundra and loved it. Ended up getting a 2015 Tundra Double Cab SR5 4wd 6.5 foot bed. I love it, the reason I got this one is its nice enough on the inside for me and I am going to change a lot of stuff on it anyway so there's no point in spending a bunch on the upgraded one. But anyway enough of that Ill upload a picture or 2 of the trucks in the next post. Thanks for reading.

Nice truck! I actually went to my local dealership looking for a 2wd Prerunner Tacoma. Left with a 4wd Tundra. Once I saw the black wheels, I was hooked. So much for gas mileage.....:D

Welcome to tundras and congrats on the new truck. I think you made a great decision. You can always trailer your next off road rig with the tundra.

That taco was sick tho. Haha.

Thanks Sean hopefully my new truck will look as good.

    Thanks man, me too.

    Thanks man.

    Thanks dude.

Actually my tacoma got the same if not worse mileage than this truck. But yeah I am hooked on it.

Thanks I really love this color.

That's exactly right I will be getting a toy that I can trailer with this.

Welcome from a fellow newbie as well. I came from a MGM DC Tacoma SR5 4x4 too although mine was a 2010 and into a 2015 MGM SM Tundra Limited 4x4, I do like the MGM. Someday when the weather straightens up here and I take the time I'll take some pics and post them also.
