Very nice build! It's probably simple to do but can you explain or show how you hooked up the third brake light? Which light you used etc..Thanks!

Yes it’s pretty simple. Wired it to my tail light harness. I don’t remember what color wires but a volt meter test will tell you what one to use.

Walmart had the best price when I brought it. It comes with chrome trim and I left the trim piece off. It also has marker light feature if you want to wire that up also.

Thanks again! Your build is awesome. So I asked this in the bed stiffener thread but got no response. I know you have bed stiffeners, carry a similar load I will be carrying, and no question you use your truck. My question is won't the RCI rack act as a sort of brace for the bed? Are the bed stiffeners actually necessary with the bed rack?

The bed stiffeners help with weight on top of the bed rails to help with bed flex. I would get them

It wasn't bad at all. The T4R with me had some rubbing on the rear bumper coming down. The LX and the 200 had no issues also

Little change before my next trip. Added an external ICOM speaker and mounted it to the Rago dash plate.

Sour Grass and Corral Hollow trip over the weekend. Great trip with good friends just before all the smoke rolled in on Monday.

First time on Sour Grass and it was a fun moderate trail.

Did you run Sourgrass all the way to the end through the creek crossing? Also, at Corral Hollow, did you run from Bear Valley to Cabbage Patch Station? Curious how the Tundra fits on both those trails. I have ran them many times in my built 4Runner without issue.

I went to the first creek crossing. It took a 3 point turn to make it past the turn to drop in but it’s doable. We camped at the crossing and the bugs were horrible though. There was a Toyota Jamboree going on so it was pretty crazy further up the trail. Lots of sick rigs coming in and out. We had the perfect spot to view them. We will be going back when possible to explore the trail more.

Could you possibly grab a picture of how this attaches to the airbox? I'm trying to come up with a way to make this work with my existing cai and haven't been able to find any pictures of the hose that comes through into the engine bay.

Are you planning on doing any river crossing or did you install for better air quality? I'm on the fence about it. Any thoughts on it so far?
