Searching has been difficult. Some sites do not have the ‘21 listed. Are they the same as previous years? Would like to get the model with the step for my grandkids to get in easier. I have just gone to the Tundra after years of Tacoma. Thanks for any help

Yes previous model years will fit just fine , no changes to the 21 tundras from previous models (2014 and up that is)

Best is maybe AMP Research retractable ones. The Predator steps are popular and several companies here like @BashFab Bash Fabrications make nice ones that are also sliders as well if that’s a feature you need.

My last tundra I had I put Westin side steps on. My current tundra has OEM steps. No problem with either

These are the bars without the drop down step, is that correct?

I found these being sold by someone, but not sure if they will work. They are about an hour and half away from me. Good ride to find out they will not work. Trying to figure it out. Anyone have any thoughts on this.

Best is subjective. I like the Rough Country I got. Works well for my 87 year old Mom.

    Nfab's are great.
Note to OP, DC & Crewmax steps are not interchangeable. Otherwise they should fit.

I also have these, look nice, sturdy, and little ground clearance loss. Also great protection from debris thrown by front tires.

Read a review about them being noisy in rain. Any thoughts on that? Have been looking at these. Any input about these? Thanks to all

Hmm. I wouldn't say they are the best, but my Rhino's factory bedlined aren't to shabby.

Best is hard to say? I think it all depends on the look you want as well. I've bought 2 pairs of cheap steps from Amazon with zero issues. Only got another because I wanted to change the look

Not sure why they would be noisy in the rain??? Those will work fine. A few members have them and are happy with them.

I have the Amp Research. I won't be doing any rock sliding and I think the tucked up steps look better.

Mine are kinda fading now. Thinking about getting them rhinolined.

Going down gravel road you can here the tinny sound of stuff hitting them. but think of it like this, those are rocks that could be hitting side of your truck.

Can't say I ever noticed noise from rain, but i'm hard of hearing so doesn't much matter.

I had the tyger side steps. They are super well built and did what they are supposed to. No noise in the rain. I sold them cause I didn’t like the look

They are rhinos.. RealTruck I believe. Service was good but tracking and shipping via FedEx was horrible.

I have these on my 20, the first set were not even close on the mounting location, but was able to swap for a new set. Easy to install, no increase in noise, but really helped when my elderly father(85) took a ride in my truck.
