any one put in the front rancho quick strut the left side went great..the right side would only clock if the adjustment knob goes to the rear..is this normal..& does the coil spring supposed to match up with the factory bilstien position..bottom of spring is at 800 on factory, the rancho is at 6:30 ish and the red poly moved a inch when i tried to clock it..or does the adjuster go in front like the left side and the bottom spring is at 1: 00 on inside..called Rancho tech support and got nothing..anyone..thanks 03 tundra ac 4x4 103k doing a full restore..new rear end, housing, shocks, leaf springs, brake lines, axles rebuilt, backing plates,etc..frame painted with chassis saver, now doing full front end..been a great project..will post pics when i figure it out.

I know that they are side specific (right vs left). Is it possible that you have two left side struts?

Put a pair of large Channellocks on the lower shock eye and turn it the correct direction.

If it moved once turn it back the other direction and it should go back into place. Turn it 180 bringing the adjuster towards you and it should slide back into place.

There is no desired "clocked" position. Take the lower shock bolt out turn it 180 deg. counter clockwise. I would put that red adjustment know facing forward so it is completely out of the way of your CV axle. If the red spacer doesn't spin when you are turning it, hold it with your hand and help it spin. Ive never seen the Ranchos in person but I am assuming it will just spin freely with the coil like the stock one.
