Had my 2012 Tundra (107K mile) at the dealership four routine maintenance (oil change and tire rotation). They did the multi-point inspection and found nothing abnormal. Then, 9 days later, out of the blue, three warning lights appeared: the "check engine" and "TRAC OFF" lights were on, and the "4LO" light was flashing. I figured it was a problem with the transmission or transfer case. After taking it back to the dealership they diagnosed it as a "Secondary Air Injection System Failure." Has anyone had luck in getting Toyota to cover all or part of the hefty repair bill?

It’s probably out of the extended warranty. If you had a lot of work done at the dealer they maybe able to good will the repair if you call the customer care hotline.... if not just do the aip bypass kit from any vendor, it will fix most if not all your problems permanently

I don't see the bypass kit as an option since I live in a state that inspects vehicles only for emissions (they stopped caring about, brakes, lights, horns, etc. years ago to save time and money at the inspection stations). I guess I'll give the "good will" route a try as you suggest. Thanks

I live in a inspection state also and never had issues with the bypass kit passing a smog inspection or visual inspection.
