And with my experiences (a lot of work trucks) with Ford having more electrical based components is a VERY bad thing. This powerboost sounds very thrown together after they heard Toyota was after a hybrid Tundra (I don't think the 570 lb ft is a coincidence seeing as the Tundra had rumors of 550). Good luck with your Ford, but I've driven them enough to know to never trust a Ford.

I, for one, can’t wait! I plan to unload my 17 for a PRO or premium model and leave it alone. I just hope they address the shitty sound system. I don’t want to mess with it.

I did not have Ford beating Toyota to a powerful and fuel efficient TT hybrid on my 2020 bingo card.

I am holding out the tiniest bit of hope that all we have heard is either wrong or intentionally misleading, and the Tundra will actually get a TT v8 from Lexus.

What else is there to do that isn't simply going where Ford has already been?

that is pretty bad, but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw tiny headlights and lots of plastic. I really hope that when we see the entire front end it looks well proportioned. I like the 19+ sport front ends.

Amen to a TT v8. But we know there will be a hybrid at some point as Aisin is full steam ahead on hybrid transmissions in Cibolo.

I have to say it.. if that is in fact the new front end, I will be staying far far away from it. If this is true, this will be probably the worst looking truck on the market. Guess I'll snag up one of the last 2021's

Do you all think that there is going to be a big hike in price? Fuel economy? Let’s get away from the exterior:rolleyes:

0% chance of a twin turbo v8. That is not on even close to on their radar for the tundra. It’s the Lexus ttv6

I agree. I wonder how the pro edition will compare to the others. Will the sport have 3 hood scoops?9DC0C91B-10B6-43C3-9924-29A6B96DD8BD.jpg

Thats just a render and not the actual new design. The video was posted before the recent leaks.

So just saw this full rendering of the truck, and it doesn't look as bad as i thought it might. Its back to a real possibility for purchase. Just waiting for the actual release to make up my mind2022-toyota-tundra-rendering.jpg

Just saw this, and I used to think Toyota took design cues from RAM, now it looks like they switched to Ford if this is correct.

Looks way closer to a Titan to me more than anything. Front headlight bezels are different but if somebody told me that was the new Titan I would believe that over anything.

Fog lights are there more towards the center like the old super duties used to be instead of right below the headlights

Someone just photoshopped the new grille design onto a Titan Pro 4 X. :rofl:Google Titan pro 4x and that’s the exact picture with the desert background and all.

Price? Definitely. Fuel economy? Not if they keep making the front end bigger like every other manufacturer has done.

I see Chevy headlights, 4Runner grille, Titan body and Ford tail lights. But that's just me.
