I helped my father-in-law load a trailer today. I just had to take this pic of my 2020 parked next to his 2006, both SSM's.

Hey, sorry to bug ya, know this sorta old thread. I’m looking at those wheels, in fact only ones I really like out of 1,000’s. Curious how far the tires stick out past the fenders with the +18. I don’t want flares and run lotsa gravel. Thanks

A couple of old photos of when I had my +20 offset Fuel wheels ... (oh and I had 295/60 tires)

Looks nice without flares, hope this helps.

I like that style and color of rims.

Did some stuff to my truck since I bought it: will try to find time next week to snap some pics and post.

I had +18 offset Fuel wheels on my last truck. I was worried about rock slingin' with my KO2s [they are horrible for that], but I never had any problem without the flares, even on gravel roads. YMMV

Changes so far. Used to always do a 6" lift, but last time, just leveled, which I really liked. My brother explained to me that, if I get a suspension lift [he has a pro-comp], I can get lift while still maintaining my factory geometry [which is better for handling and long-term durability]. I am going to have to learn more about that.

    Anyway ...

Put this horrid, shiny thing on the front [which I really like]:
    IMG_1384.jpg

Got this Undercover Flex tonneau to keep my stuff secure and relatively dry:

    IMG_1388.jpg

And, it's a little thing, but black tundra letters on the tailgate are highly necessary in my book:

I think the black tailgate letters (and 4X4 if applicable) should be standard on the SSM. They look really good on this color.

Lift kits have come a long way. Just be sure and get the right one so you don't screw things up. I enjoy a leveled truck on 33s the most. I use my truck bed alot and have a toolbox back there so leveled is high enough for me for daily use.
