Couldn't be happier deciding to embrace my rig. The upgrades will continue as things wear out. Right now I love the new suspension

You should talk to the guy from CN Design on Facebook for some tips...he makes a set that work really well in the truck!

Once you get it figured out are you planning to add it to thingiverse or post up the stl file here?

Damn this is a really good idea. I can't tell you how many times I picked up my truck from the dealer, tire shop, etc and wonder "was that scratch there before?".

that was my original plan, but he stopped selling in November (right before I went to order) when his printer took a shit and then got Covid, so he’s still trying to get things back up and running. I’ve got access to an Ultimaker S3 at work, so just decided to figure it out myself. Then I can tweak it a bit to fit my needs/desires.

Not sure on Thingiverse, but will likely share here in my build thread.

with my wife’s car in the garage I park really close to the wall so don’t open the door all the way so I find myself constantly pulling myself up from the steering wheel which I’m sure overtime won’t be good for the steering wheel. That being said I just ordered mine and will be here soon. I do thing it’s priced way to high for what it is but I found it on eBay for 70 bucks so I’m good with that.

Added white - don't call them Raptor lights, they are grill lights - Yotaleds, simple install, except that grill didn't have the 'ribs' to zip tie the wires too, so I zip-tied it to the safety sensor wire harness.
They are almost blinding to look at, hopefully that is fine for oncoming drivers. May see about putting light tint film over them.
Really shows how ugly the headlights are, need them TRD Pro LEDs bad!! That's next :)
And I know the heritage sticker is missing red, dropped it on the floor and too lazy to order a new set.

Test run in PLA using draft setting - pushed it to the printer from the house last night before bed and it was waiting for me at the office this morning. I’m happy with it - need to run it in CPE+ for a final run with higher resolution on the printer...and see if I need to tweak it for shrinkage or anything. I’ll still plan on using a filling primer and probably some trim paint for final product.

Finding colored cap screws long enough to use for both mounting and visual on top is proving to be a bit tough, so I’m going a different route. The holes that run through it will be chased with a tap, and the I’ll put short decorative colored cap screws in the top of the holes, and use regular button-head screws from underneath to actually secure it into the console tray. Don’t mind the blanks I have in there - it’s just an old one I have for test fitting.

Sent to the printer in CPE+ (similar to PETG). We'll see how she looks in about 4 1/2 hours.

That look really nice! How is the hold on the switches without the side notches in them?

There is just enough "shoulder" at the corners to lock them side-to-side in but still work with just about every odd-ball switch I've run across between my Gen 2 and my Gen 3 (each spot in the vehicle has a specific shape to it to match up with a specific switch). The clips at the "top" and "bottom" of the switch are what lock it into the actual socket (from pulling out), and then the shape of the actual button nestles in pretty snug into the socket as well. It also simplifies the design a bit more and reduces material and print time by a minute amount.

Got some goodies installed yesterday, courtesy of State 48 Overland. Icon stage 6 (though I’m still waiting on the rear piggybacks), Method MR306 rims, Nitto trail grapplers (35x12.5r18), body mount chop, LED headlights. I need to get some better pictures but I’m super stoked!

That looks nice. I just got my Tundra last week, so I'm learning about all the nuances of upgrades and such. What is a body mount chop?

Also, lets see a shot of the new rims!

Congrats on your new tundra, and welcome to the forum! A typical body mount chop cuts a small piece of the frame at the back of the front wheel well to allow a little more space in the turning radius of the tire.

Here’s a pic of the back wheel / rim:

Nice! Those have to be my favorite style of rim on the Tundra.

Thanks for the info about the chop, I had no clue what that might be for. It will be a while before the wife green-lights any major changes to the Tundra, plus we already have the upgraded Toyota wheels so getting some like yours won't be an option in her eyes. :)

I say that and I'm installing a hard tonneau tonight after work. But I sold that as a necessity for family travel and security.

Slight topic change...anyone know the color temp is on the rope led drl that's standard on the 2020 SR5 headlights? I'm thinking like 6000K or is it closer to 8000k? I want to have them match in color
