Nice write up; I have both on order... Along with a 30" stealth for the GF's Taco, and 9 SSC2's

    (2) SSC2 Pro Fog as angled lights on top of an aftermarket bumper (Aussie style)
    (2) SSC2 Pro Combos as ditch lights
    (2) SSC2 Sport Flood as side lights (1 on each side of a bed rack)
    (2) SSC2 Pro Combos as high mounted rear scene (on bed rack again)
    (1) SSC2 Sport Combo in Yellow as a dust light

When the front bumper gets built the goal is to do 2 pairs of SSC2 Max's (one yellow fog, one white spot) and 30" Stage Series driving light bar on top; the rear bumper also will have set of flush mount SS3 Pro flood's for additional rear lighting.

Most of the lights were ordered a while ago when I ordered a new bumper for my 4Runner (soon to be for sale); with the purchase of the Tundra, everything will transition over when it arrives.

FWIW, the GF's Tacoma has SS3 pro fogs as well; and both trucks are 100% Diode Dynamics LEDs in all the replaceable spots. I guess you could say that when I find something I like, I stick with it

Thanks RE: the username haha, it's my license plate from the 4Runner (will get transferred to the Tundra)

WOW! I think you need one more light to be honest. :)
I'm a big fan of Diode Dynamics products. I had some RIGID previously and these are a solid option.
Enjoy and good luck with the build!

You always can use more light! The 4Runner wasn't built with Diode stuff, but has 2 30" lightbars in the grille, 40" curved bar on the roof rack, LED fogs, 4.5" side shooter ditch lights, 2 6" light bars per side, 3" side shooters for upper rear scene and 3" flush pod lights in the bumper for lower rear; plus 11 ground lights (and for the rear bumper swing arms).

I like to be able to see things. There are 20 KC Cyclone LEDs also waiting in a box for the tundra (mix of white and yellow for general ground, bed, under hood, and camp lighting), as well as some smaller pieces to add footwell, console, and overhead ambient (like the 4Runner has) lighting to the interior.

And thank you! The Tundra scene has been a big change from the 4Runner scene, but I think there's good stuff ahead!
