I went with PVC due to price. Gave the rest of my budget to AJT Designs.

SEM Trim black is a lot cheaper than changing parts.

Just an FYI, the NSV is not compatible with the 2020 and 2021 yet. The bar will fit, but the switch panel is different.

Installed my soft white LED bed kit by Matt Gecko. I had the kit on my Taco and now on the Tundra. I know its cheaper to make your own, but love the plug and play kit. Easy and fun install!!

So after a night time drive, it is way too bright. I am either going to trim off some of the leds and re-center the strip, or possibly trim the carpet piece from the bottom of the center console and see how that does to cut the glare. Trimming the leds will probably be the better option.

Are they dimmable? Some are some aren’t all you would need is a resistor

Did quite a bit over the weekend. Put in the FRAC camera system. Pretty strait forward. Still have to clean up the camera mount a little and I ended up reconnecting the front camera lines.D685C712-D871-4BFA-AB9B-7254A192CF8A.jpgCC1A181D-526E-4531-AD49-A37E77240D90.jpg4416E7D1-259C-4A83-84ED-F59A79C7FD0E.jpg

Installed some winjet taillights. Plug and play.CA7F52D2-CCD9-44A7-A467-4E882771C9C1.jpgD6B85F51-EBF6-4C5F-A5B6-AB055ADA690E.jpg.

Update. I was having some radio reception problems. I figured I forgot to plug some wire back in or one slipped out as I reinstalled the radio for about the fifth time. Took it apart and all seemed good. Radio reception was still poor in some locations especially when I hit the brakes. So I took out the winjets and put the oem back on. Seemed to work good on Thursday but was working in a different area. So today I put the winjets back in and drove 30 minutes to where I knew I was having reception problems, sure enough lots of static especially when brakes were applied. Pulled into a Home Depot and swapped back to the OEM taillights. Problem went away. Not sure how the winjet taillights cause radio reception problems....but they do in my truck...so I shipped them back today.

So I’ve been dragging my feet on this project a little because I have been busy doing other things. I installed led light bar behind the grille in the hood bulge and also did a center dash led for ambience/visibility. I ordered an AOB switch because it matches the factory blue. Half Lights up with the illumination of the truck and then when activated both light up. Light bar was a 38 inch I believe. The center console led is a single that I wired up a variable resistor to ( used them a ton when installing car audio/security systems... the one I use goes from 0-5k ohm ) allow me to adjust the brightness/dimness to my liking with a turn of a set screw. Pic is much brighter than in person. I didn’t want it to be really all the bright. My wife’s ‘20 4Runner has them and made me kinda jealous.

Got rid of all the chrome and silver ...except of the door handles and trim and put my shift boot in. Still need to change it up a little but it will have to wait a couple of weeks.8B070A35-6C9C-4B90-A2DD-04406796F7D8.jpgC9017A47-8C0C-468D-8B30-9BDF4B922838.jpg 9EA86009-B7E2-4DFF-A469-7EED06261B8B.jpg

Yeah I am waiting. The switch panel replacement doesn't match with the OEM panel. It made me curious if you could modify the switches to make it work with what's already occupying the existing switch panel. TBH I don't really care about the Knight Rider function, so if you took that switch away, I think it would work.

While, yes, the current version of the NSV bar is advertised as only up to 2019 Tundra models and is currently in process of a switch panel redesign for 2020+ models, there are a few 2020+ members that have “made” the current NSV bar “work”. @freedomoftime of time is one of them and even offers up contact info for additional help or additional questions...

Truthfully, the talent pool that frequent this site should be able to “handle the adjustments” to make it “work”...

Thank you. I ended up cutting about an 1-1 1/4 inches of the shift shaft off and threaded more of the shaft. It is not as simple as it sounds. the shaft is tapered...so I had to grind it down so the die would work. plus.its either stainless or some type of hardened steel and making new threads is tricky.

Been getting lots of ideas thanks to you guys and I put them all together this weekend. De-Chromed the interior with the AJT Design Kit & Shifter. Replaced all the interior bulbs to LED's. Added the accent LED to the lower tray area. Changed the center console out to the OEM wireless charger. Added the JDM liners. Upgraded the floor mats to TRD Pro. Finally got the bike mounts added to the over-bed Yakima racks. Rockin' a Grogu because "This is the way" 20210201_074232.jpg

    Yay blue! Looks awesome!

Not to be that guy and mention something else... but the TVD radio decal would look awesome and tie in a lot of the blue you have. I'm talking about the "TUNDRA" impression on the radion here's the blue on mine, I haven't upgraded my knobs yet but I think this would look killer with your interior.

Tell me about it, I thought I royally screwed up. I put the whole thing in water and the backing paper started disintegrating instead of peeling off...

Feel free to PM me or you can post back here. Where are you having your issue?

Check the build link in my signature.
I removed the AC controller so i could do it flat on my work bench. Pull a little water in the depression in the controls. Used some really high grade tweezers and then used wet q-tips to press the letters once positioned and make any final tweaks, followed by dry q-tips to soak up the excess water.

The first set I tried was without pulling the unit, but then I tried installing them while I had everything torn apart for the AJT conversion. The biggest issue I had was them sticking too quickly and stretching them out as I tried to reposition them and destroying them in the process... I didn't want to try the Windex trick because I wasn't sure about the quality of the adhesive. Thanks Rainman for letting me know about the water. I may try that since I have one more set of letters to play with.
