It arrived at the PC on Friday afternoon and I was on the road...sensor opening was there and light bar opening even though I did not order the bar. I bought that bumper with the intention of getting my own lights and can get some decent discounts out there. Never dreamed with the design that holes would not be on the bumper??? They should should have a drop down check box or something including LP9's if you want holes pre drilled which I want and would have paid extra for....Can't tell from the photos PC if any holes on the bumper but am in a holding pattern until I get answer.

At the very least I am going to have them email me templates for those holes which they have to have....no way I can run that bumper around now. They also have to tighten up their ordering process....drilling holes after you pc kind of defeats the purpose

Will the PC do you a solid and drill some holes for you?

That is why I want the templates...without them I am sure they won't.

You will have plenty of time to pull out a second mortgage to afford lights for the hybrid by the time it’s done. Hope you like wiring too!

I did black friday and it showed up last week at the powder coater since I had it shipped straight there...They beat the date they gave me by about 3 weeks. FYI....make sure you specify and clarify with them what holes come pre drilled and what you want for lights. Still trying to sort that out.

Anyone running the overland bumper with no hoop? They have the quicksand build on their website but wouldn't mind seeing others if there are any

Well ....update....all the holes are there including the LP9's although C4 claimed not standard and wouldn't have shipped with those if I had not asked. Went through the process of getting the template and the PC sent me a pic and the holes are there!!It sounds like there intention is to put the full spread of holes on the hybrid bumper moving forward unless you don't want them.

I just got to reinstalling my parking sensors and everything is installed properly on the C4 bumper.

For anyone who has reinstalled theirs, did you do any sort of reset or disconnect battery for x amount of minutes? They are not working so I am wondering what I did incorrectly. Thanks in advance.

Edit. They are now working after just waiting a bit.

Bumper is coming in Thursday. I'm hoping that it'll be ready to wire next weekend.

I think somehow I got dirt in my passenger side, I left my battery disconnected for about 10 min when I installed.

Wire them to the battery and thru a relay and switch......

A little more info would help.... All on together? How to you plan to switch them? Draw from the lights?

I'm going wire them to an SPOD except the middle Squadron which I am going to wire to my fog switch like it is currently wired. Mostly wanted to get a perspective on running the wires on the back of the bumper etc.

For those of you with the overland bumper, did you have to reinstall your stock d rings or tow hooks (whatever it’s called)?

    No.
Those go bye bye, since you'll now have d ring mounts on the bumper.

Has anyone used d-rings on those bumper-mounts? Not that I question the welds, but even the best welds have certain tensile strength thresholds. I’m a little leery of trying them if I ever get a bumper with d-ring mounts and wanted to know of others’ experiences first.

Are you referring to shackles attached to the mounting points welded onto the front of the bumper? Yes they work just fine for any application you and your tundra will be in in North America.

I would suggest buying American made shackles by Factor 55 and not Chinese Amazon made ones. Those do actually contain tested ratings.

I totally agree. Those Factor55 shackles are nice! I’m also interested in the synthetic soft rope shackles.

But anyway, I was referring to the shackle mounts welded to the bumpers. I’m not the best welder. I’ve welded on frames and tubing, but I’ve also grinded my share of booger welds and slag, both stick and mig. So I’m always cognizant of weld strength. A lot of these bumper fabricators have amazing looking welds, way better skill than I have. I was just curious if anyone has seen or heard of shackle mounts failing on bumpers like these when given a hard pull during an extraction.
