Hmm. I totally missed the 2nd year anniversary of my tundra being bought by me... February 1st.

Are aftermarket sway bars worth purchasing? Ie. Would I benefit from it? Risk vs reward. Not thought about it before...

Depends how you use your truck. I upgraded my front sway bar and have a rear aftermarket sway bar waiting to be installed to improve my trucks road handling while towing. I benefit from a better road handling truck greatly even when I'm not towing. If you take your truck on Jeep type roads with ruts and rocky terrain (I don't) then you wont benefit from a sway bar upgrade since it will be limiting the suspension articulation even more than stock. Of course you can disconnect/remove the sway bar for off-roading and run it everywhere else if you'd be helped by the sway bar in other situations.

Yes! Your truck should have a front OEM sway already if it hasn’t been removed or links are broken. Hellwig 7700 is an awesome upgrade for the rear. They make a front, as well if needed. Top mod for sure. Great on street, tow/haul, and off road depending on terrain. You’ll see.

Can’t vouch for the Addco, but others have said good things. I also like the forward mounting of it, but iirc its made in chyner. It also has (from pics) inferior looking mounting bracketry/bushings compared to the Stout Made in USA Hellwig. Lastly, the Hellwig Hammered Finish is far superior than what looks like cheap shiny spray on.

I scored mine for around $325 a few years back. Was at $425 but dropped to $384ish.

In the end, its under the truck and doing it again I’d give Addco (due to forward design) a go if it wasn’t made in chyner. Someone prove me wrong. There website is neutral on the matter.

    Hellwig is money well spent.

Getting my rear geared and adding a sway bar is going to end up costing more than high end strip club rear

Yeah, but the former lasts a long time where the latter is a brief spell.

    Impossible.
Wifey's shoes requires 1 truck, closet contents in 2nd truck. His whole life fits in the tacoma with room for the chicken & beer plus a buddy or 2.
