Has anyone seen these wheels in person? I’m wondering if the color is that close or it’s some type of camera trickery.

These wheels are sick as hell. I've been trying to find them myself but cant seem to locate them. Let me know if you find out who makes them :spending:

I’ve seen them on the Tacos, I’m thinking I’ll be getting them soon but I was hoping to hear from someone that’s seen them in person to know if the color is close or looks way off.

Looks like a good candidate for a 1VD-FTV 4.5L twin turbo diesel out of a 200 series Land Cruiser.

I know if I had an extra $42k laying around, they would already have my truck.

Thanks for the comparison, looks like in the shade or low light the color matches, but looks lighter in direct sunlight. How much tire poke do you get with that offset?

Nice! That’s what I was thinking it would be but wasn’t sure. With the stock wheels having a +60 offset, I knew I didn’t want 0 or a negative offset, I personally don’t want the roller skate look.

    Here’s my 2020 TRD. It has a 6” Trailmaster lift with 35’s.

Decided to give the ol girl a face lift. No need to spend alot of money on a Pro Grille. I highly recommend getting this aftermarket grille from Empyre OffRoad and was less than $200.00. Also decided to test fit the bumpershellz.IMG_3627.jpg IMG_3629.jpg IMG_3631.jpg

I’ve been thinking about putting wheel spacers on my stock wheels, I like the look of them but want a little tire poke out of them. If I get 1.25”-1.5” spacers, I’m still in the +20 offset range, so in theory I’d still be safe as far as strain on the front end components. What are y’all’s thoughts?

Was heading out with a friend and we were discussing this color. I remarked that I figured there may not be many Toyota's in this color and that way it may stay sorta special out on the road.
We have way way too many white, grey and black trucks around here..IMHO.
Two hours later we had spotted 3 Tundras and 3 Tacomas in quicksand...ha!
I deleted the badges and added the painted mirror caps and do believe that enhances how the truck looks in quicksand. And Im sure now that the next delete will be the rear decal.

Did you paint over the chrome surround and nose piece?

No, I bought the bumpershellz, and I bought the grill and hood bulge from cool springs ( vendor here ) when they were painting them before.

Lucky you! I got the Pro grill with surround but its black. Found a scratched black hood bulge for $85 that I repaired scuffed and primed. scuffed and primed the lower surround today..

I might get the bulge painted at least in base color today??
    Nice little project.
