Probably have, but it’s easier to just paint them yourself.

I hear you, I thought about that too but powder coating will adhere better. It will also look much better. I know it will cost more and calipers also have to be taken apart.

Dunno about the Tundra, but they make color covers for the Mustang. Helps with dust accumulation on the wheels without sacrificing heat dissipation, supposedly.

I did powder coating on my Chevy and it worked great. Just be sure the guy covers the holes where the pistons go. If not, it will be scuffed in the cleaning process.

I used spray paint on my Corolla calipers. Never again. Paint came off when I was bleeding the brakes.

Use Ceramic BBQ Rustoleum Flat as a primer coat(s). Finish with Gloss Black, or your favorite color, with a few more coats. You can do this with the wheels off without removing Calipers. Slip a plastic grocery bag up and under rotors to isolate Caliper for spraying. Proper prep is key.

I’ve done it both ways on and off truck. In the pic, I sprayed these off as they were a new upgrade. Holding nicely. A little dirty a year in, but to be expected. Washes off clean.

I would use cerakote. can be applied yourself and much more heat resistant.

See the top quote as well as this thread https://www.tundras.com/threads/adding-toyota-x-series-caliper-covers-on-rear-of-trd-pro.80851/. Hadn't done it yet but found the post in "What have you done..... today" thread

It's on my list of mods to do.

They look tacky, snow accumulation can also rip them off, if anything , I'd rather paint the existing calipers, vht and rustoleoum look much nicer than those covers.

I was kind of thinking that. Looks like they won’t fit the fronts anyway. There isn’t much room to clear the BBS wheels.

It doesn't stick out that much, I recall they are held on by these double ended screws or sort, then they ask you to use silicon glue too, its fine on sliding calipers where the outer surface is just flat, but on our front calipers things get caught because there's big gap between the surface and the back of the cover, one of the guys at work did that on his GMC Sierra (new one), which has similar 4 pistons caliper as we do in shape, his broke into 2pcs after one winter storm because the snow keep accumulate in between.
