Center console safe. A good one will cost you about $400 depending in what lock option you choose. I don't recommend the cheap safes that these guys are getting from Amazon. I recommend Lock'er Down safes.

Yes I agree with Tundra234. Cry once, buy once. Lock’er Down makes good quality safes.

TRex Arms Sidecar. Offers both storage and concealment. Also the added benefit if getting to it when you need it. :)

This is what I did, some modifying needed to the center console, just trimming out lower plastic.

Bio-metric. Can open even with real sweaty and or dirty hands, with a key back up if needed

I like that for convenience. If I didn’t already have a lock’r down it’d be a consideration for a way to temporarily secure a gun!

The only negative to this method is that your weapon could easily be ripped off during a break in. IMO, the one that bolts in the center console is a better and safer option if you’re going to leave a weapon in your truck.

Actually it's bolted into the center console. And the last 2 times my truck was broken into they didn't even mess with it. The officer said it was kinda camouflaged in there, she didn't even see it till I pointed it out to her.

And there is always a firearm and back up mags in there, unless dropping the vehicle off to the dealer for oil changes, or if I go to a ranch in Crawford Tx, that doesn't allow us to have them there. The USSS gets kinda jinky if they don't have all the firearms on site.

Nice! I didn’t know you could bolt that thing down.
You have been broken into twice? Lame.

Yeah sucked both times, they went after the aftermarket radio, put a stock one back in, no more issues.

I went with a Tuffy center console insert, custom fit leaves no room for thieves to pry at and was very easy to install. You can’t carry in certain places so always good to have a safe spot you can place your gun and valuables without worrying about it.

I like the one I got off Amazon, safe enough and my gun isn't in there for very long when it is.

Happy with my Lock'er Down Console Safe.
One of the first things I bought for my 2014.
With the electronic keypad I can open it without looking at it.
Although I don't think they offer that specific lock anymore...
Mounted my own magnets with Chicago screws into the safe wall..

I drilled a hole thru the safe and paddle of the holster and mag holder and bolted it to the safe I used a 10mm bolt and nut on each here’s a pic to give you an idea how it looked when I was doing it

It’s not that hard to pull the safe out again I did about 5 test installs to make sure I had the holster at the right angle then locked down my 10mm bolts and it’s very solid

This is what I did. I rather not have to fumble around opening and closing doors. Waistband to magnet back to waistband.

Also I’m not worried about the knee airbag.

Pretty strong magnet I assume? I guess one could attach that INSIDE the console safe is so inclined...avoid the holster all-together.

No worries with the magnet moving internal safety, releasing firing pin, releasing striker, or magnetizing parts of the pistol?
