Any idea how I can get transmission temps to show with the Veepeak scanner and the OB2 Fusion app with the upgrade option? Is it an option? I can’t figure it out for the life of me.

Patrick shows how to set it up in the video. It's really easy. Start watching at the 32 minute mark.

I added the Toyota extra codes for about $40 to the Fusion app, I forget exactly what it was called, but it popped up and I bought it. Then I found the Tran 1 and 2 options for the temp. Took a little, but worked out well with my Veepeak. Before I bought the add on, I could not find anything. Then when I connect, I scroll to Network A on the app and set up my dashboard with the items I wanted, trans temp 1 & 2, engine oil temp, coolant temp and charging volts.

I bought the extra codes but there’s nothing for the trans temps. I’ll keep digging. Thanks!

The trans temps are what he sets up in the video after the cool install.

Iirc there were two sets of Toyota codes, the more expensive ones came with the tranny codes for me. All I had to so was select them as part of my dashboard. Good luck!

For anyone with a wireless CarPlay adapter, get the BlueTooth version of the Veepeak OBD2. The Wifi version interferes with the CarPlay adapter. I'm using the Veepeak BLE+ in my '20. You can make custom PIDs as described in the video, or opt for the $10 ODB Fusion adder and find the temps in the list.
