That looks really good. I was looking at another one:

    https://p-p-engineering.myshopify.c...oyota-tundra-titus-front-low-pro-winch-bumper

I might just go with the CBI instead. I like the short bull bar. It might be good to keep deer out of the grille. Is there a place for the license plate?

That is kick ass! I've been looking at front bumpers but want to keep a somewhat stock look. dont like the prerunner look at all.

I ordered directly through CBI. Cost was around $900 shipped. They did have a introductory sale.

reading on their site, it does say cutting required. How much cutting trimming did you have to do?

Just the middle plastic section. Any type of bumper like this would also require the same. Depending upon winch you may have to trim some of the bumper support bracket or relocate the solenoid. C862F3F2-1B3B-4217-97C8-6F48DDC9EE11.jpg

You can access the clutch handle from the top through the access hole if you have tss. Or you can clock the winch to the back if you want or buy that expensive warn winch with the built in clutch to the remote. If you want easy access then warn makes something similar with a hoop or without for a better price than SSO and quicker shipping.

Warn is not bad but the light bar cut of the SSO and styling is a little nicer.
The SSO is $779 and Warn $809.

We have lots of mud here so ease of access to the winch is more than just controller and clutch access.

I am a ways off from the purchase so does not matter too much.

I have seen the Warn on Amazon for $600 and some change shipped.SSO looks nice on a 4Runner but the Tundra is just ok IMO

    It is currently $809.
I added it to my wish list so I’ll keep an eye on it and if the price drops that much I may have to snag it.

This warn insert looks pretty good. I wonder if anyone on here has installed on their truck?

Sorry that this is so long after the original post. After installing this, has it given you any issues with the TSS sensor? Or is it working as should? I’m considering getting this bumper.

Hey man, me again. I finally got the bumper but these instructions are terrible, hats off to you for figuring it all out. Could you assist me? Im stuck.

    3. Power Steering Relocation brackets.

    • Loosen the two clamps holding the power steering lines in place with a 12mm.

    • Now using the 5/16 hardware, bolt the power steering relocation brackets to the clamps.

    • Reinstall the factory bolts to the front hole of the power steering relocation clamps. The general idea is that the power steering lines

My question is am I supposed to be using those small ovals with 2 circles in each or the ones with the slots (see below)? And how am I supposed to re-locate hard lines? Im very confused here, the hard lines do not have much play.

I don’t recall having those brackets with mine… however I do remember tweaking the factory brackets by just slightly bending them to get the clearance needed.

I believe CBI has a YouTube video of the install instructions now. When I done mine nothing was really available.

They sent more weather stripping with mine… it is intended to put around the plastic that is cutout. I did not use it as it looked better without it in my opinion.

I think I can see in one of your original pictures that you did not have to relocate your control box, are my eyes fooling me? I'm mounting an Apex Badlands 12K in one of these soon and was wondering what kind of room you had. Would prefer to keep it mounted to the winch if I could given that it has a wireless controller. Thanks.

For anyone who’s interested in this bumper I have nearly completed the install. I fit the 12k badlands winch with some modification. I have pictures I can post later or answer any questions directly. Thinking about doing a write up if there’s enough feedback.

Biggest challenge is anytime you mix OEM parts with aftermarket parts it’s a custom job. Getting gaps back to their proper width and centering everything is tough but doable.

A smaller winch would be better for figment, but for our trucks I feel like 12k is necessary. I tried to mount a Black Oak light bar but there is not enough space with the Badlands winch. Judging off measurements with the winch mounted the only decent light bar I suspect will fit is the Heretic. They have a different profile and are smaller due to their design.

Again, I have pictures and will answer questions or will do a write up if anyone needs it.
