Does anyone know of a bracket or mount that will fit a CB and HAM antenna that mounts in the front left and right corners of our truck beds just aft of the window? I’m trying the ditch light bracket antenna mount currently but I’m having to bend the bracket to still let me open my hood and also not scrape when windshield wipers are on so I don’t think this will work. My next best spot would be the front corners of the truck bed but I can’t find any mounts.

I have my antenna mounted at the front of the bed just behind the cab. My bedcover has yakima tracks so I made my own bracket that mounts to the tracks. Without a bed cover it should be easy to make something that attached to the deckrail.

I have the Leitner cargo rack system so I will have to look into how much space I will have for something like this between the rear window and the Leitner rack bar.

It does not look like there is much space between the cab and the rack. Leitner does make an antenna mount - would something like this work?

Another option might be to weld a bracket (or trick tab) near the base of the rack.

If you have the bed rails, Caliraised makes a LED pod mount which should work for an antenna as well exactly the same as a ditch light bracket and you can slide it where ever you want on the bed rail.

Rago makes one that goes by the tailgate Some bed stiffeners also have a mounting hole in the top of them that can be used for lights and antennas or you can make a little bracket yourself that will mount to the bed rail as sr5shark said.

I made a plate that goes between my ditch lights and bracket that relocates antenna a few inches inbound. I have CB on passenger side and GMRS on drivers side with no problem opening hood. The drivers side did hit the wiper arm so had to zip tie wire to bracket. Will send pics when I get outside.

I have the leitner too. I used the rago mount. It has enough play that I can move it to the bedside when I have the RTT on6D71C62E-B4DE-4F78-8E9E-94A8C2EEC723.jpg

This is a standard antenna mount for a CB antenna. Normally, it uses an adapter for a 3/8-24 mount, but I drilled it out to accept a feedthrough and a PL-259 base antenna. I also drilled a couple of holes so it would mount to the Unistrut bed rails. It works well and is rock solid.
