    2021 Tundra SR5 TRD-Off Road Double Cab
Dobinsons 2-3" Complete Suspension Kit w/ medium Dobs Leafs, Decked Drawer System, Leitner Forged ACS Rack, Line-Xed bed and Line-Xed Tyger Blade Steps, Wet Okole seat covers, VLED lighting, soon to add Swith Pro and auxillary lights
-I’m setting up my ‘21 DC to be a versatile platform for my farm, work, family, and recreation.
-Truck home-based on large mixed woods/field farm, hunting property in New Hampshire
-TRD OR SR5: Truck has all of 1500 miles odo, purchased new in January.

Some considerations guiding the build decisions are:
On/Off Road Versatility: hwy, dirt, washboard, gravel, grass, snow, 4x4 trail
Work Functionality: tool storage, towing (<7000lbs), materials hauling in bed
Family Compatibility: two adults, 7yr old, 1yr old, bags of stuff, bikes, camping gear
Practicality vs Vanity: my fantasy leans toward dedicated off-road/recovery rig; tempered by hwy commutes, unnecessary weight/cost, self-scrutiny

Here is the build list so far:
    • Dobinsons 2-3” Complete Twin Tube Suspension Kit w/ medium rear leafs
    • SPC UCAs
    • LineX Bed liner
    • Tyger Blade Steps w/LineX over factory coating
    • Decked Drawer System w/ some accessories
    • Leitner Forged ACS w/ Bar Height Extension Brackets and other accessories
    • Rotopax, MaxTrax, Krazy Beaver
    • Factor 55 recovery gear
    • SwitchPro 9100 with SDHQ mounts
    • BD Sqad. Pros on SDHQ Pillar mounts
    • BD S1 back-ups/ soon to be S2 side-facing lights
    • DD SS3 Max SAE amber Fogs
    • VLEDS reverse, cargo, dome, driver footwell
    • Wet Okole Neoprene seat covers
    • Glad these came with truck: center console safe, 38gal tank, LED headlights
    TBD:
    • Tires (275/65 vs 275/70)? I do need a 10ply AT, I want to size up to 70...but I have trouble conceding to vanity
    • Trans Cooler (yes but must plan ahead for install)
    • Air Compressor
    • Airbags/Cradles (hoping I won't feel the need, haven't really tested leafs yet, but I hate sag esp. towing livestock)
    • VLEDS Puddle Lights (nice feature for family)
Cravings I will forego for now:
    Sliders
    Skid Plates
    Wheels
    Roof Rack
    Light Bar

    Notes:
    • My constant bed load is around 500lbs, I typically drive alone 75%, with my 2 children 20%, occasionally wife is passenger 5%. Chose DoubleCab because I use the bed space. Wife drives a Volvo XC 90 so we use that if we need a lot of interior space. We are small-medium stature folk that fit ok in DC.
    • Will annually apply NH Oil Undercoating, and do a seasonal detailed clean out of all rust-prone areas
    • I plan to give more comprehensive info on my items and review them per my usage. Happy to answer any questions regarding any product

    @badmotofing3r Thanks, nice rig yourself!
Looks like 275/70 Wildpeaks? They are a strong consideration for tires...what is your experience?
What is the black appendage beneath the corner of the rear bumper, a bed step?

    @farm&forest

    Thanks for the compliment.

Yes they are Falken Wildpeaks in 275/70-18.

So far they are awesome, and I haven't even tried them aired down yet. I just took them up on the mountains the other day to really test them out. I am completely satisfied. I've had them about a year and some change and probably 12k miles. So far they're wearing great, handle excellent on icy roads (for an A/T tire) and are definitely failry quiet considering the size.

That is a little step on the rear bumper corner. It came on the truck when I bought it. At first I thought it was lame until I found myself using it almost weekly.

I believe it's an "Amp" branded step.

Awesome! That Leitner rack is killer in looks and functionality.

I like both the trucks guys, but this one in particular has got my curiosity going, it is great to see it fit in your garage, how tall is your garage door? My bone stock 2020 SR5 clears my garage door by a little over an inch

    @snomoman

    These doors are only 7’.
When I got the topper on I swung by my house and my friend eye-balled it for me to see if it’d fit. Which it did barely by like a half inch.

After I got it color matched I didn’t think about trying backing in. Which was a no go with my driveway angle. It went through but it was rubbing the garage door seal on the framing.

Mine must be less than 7 feet, I’ll have to measure it to figure it out exactly, I remember when I bought the truck I didn’t think anything about it not fitting in the garage, but then when I saw how tall it was it had me wondering, I’m glad that it clears it, no lift kit for me I guess.. ha ha

Yep, I’m loving the Leitner. The sliding rear bar is crucial to me. Accessories/ add-ons are pricey but I went for it and have no regrets. The overall stability of the unit is another attribute I appreciate.

I added the extension brackets to raise the bar height above the sharkfin antenna on my ‘21 for long lumber and canoes. It doesn’t look as streamlined, and likely catches more wind but it’s growing on me.

This is the light setup I just installed at the rear of my Leitner rack. Two pair of BD S1s: one set rear-facing white floods, one set side-facing wide cornering amber. I definitely like the mount positions, and I left the mount bolts just loose enough to swivel the lights to adjust aim. Wiring is tucked in the track of top rails of rack, then down the front risers and between the cab and bed.
