At this point the Tundra better blow our freakin' socks off. I mean - 'world beater' and 'wait a little longer' only to find out "Hey! We can do the stuff the other manufacturers can do now!" LOL That'd tick me off.

During the Q&A, it's embarrassing how little these guys know about the actual trucks. They keep having to nervously look over at the guys standing off to the side for help. They may be marketing folks, but I'd still expect them to know the trucks very well.

I'm betting it'll be one of the Tundra mules they've been test driving minus the covers.

Just watched the press release, like the rest of you.. I such a shame, I want to like the Tacoma, but it still has some issues.. My wife and daughter just rented a 2020 tacoma and did not like the auto trans or the turning radius.. They missed the boat on the Tacoma.. I do love my Tundra..

The fact that they didn't give us any dates, just a "hold on a little longer" is not a good sign.

I guess I had assumed a later date. It's unlikely anything will be said today... why wouldn't you open the truck segment with what everyone is actually waiting for?

i agree, toyota blew big marketing opportunity and win alot of hearts. like everything, if you keep someone waiting for too long they start losing excietment and interest, same goes for girls :p

I took the "wait a little longer" comment to mean later in the presentation?? But yeah if they waste this entire 3 hours deal without any additional info on the Tundra would be a miss.

Saw that Tim Esterdahl, Joe Raiti, and Sofyan Bey are all there in the audience. Probably thinking, "We flew all the way to Plano for this?!?"
