Wow!! You were going all out! Well I'm sure you're aware, but be sure to read up on the collapsed lifter issues. Hopefully, GM has sorted that out.

Back to square one honestly. Read GM has those issues, Ford is rusting on the bottom, Ram won’t fit in my garage or I’d do that.

looks like I’m between Titan and tundra. There’s a TRD pro that’s been sitting for 3 weeks. I have a chance to build my own F150 lariat for invoice less rebates and it’s tempting.

Honestly it seems all new trucks have some sort of issues.

Right now the GM's aren't good deals. MSRP minus rebate is still hyperinflated. These trucks 10 months ago were $14k off MSRP. I don't know ford pricing but most are MSRP - $1000 rebate if you custom order. MSRP if you don't. My only issue with ordering Ford is by the time it arrives, new Tundra orders will be available and would like to see those details. Ram is hit or miss. Some dealers are $8-9k discounts and some are MSRP +. Titans are still discounted and will always be but they aren't much and put their prices in line with the competition. I'd buy a Titan as I have no issue with them, but right now their value isn't strong. To me, their value is only good when they're $13-14k off MSRP.

The Tundra. It's like a toxic hot ex gf. For some reason I think about the TRD Pro daily. The style, the stance, and that damn back window. Logically it doesn't make sense. No memory seats, no creature features, no advanced safety features, etc. But for some reason I yearn for it. I'm split between saying F it and getting the TRD Pro and part is waiting for other rebates to increase or 22 Tundra details to come out.

I'm surprised you'd consider a Titan but not a current gen Tundra. To me they seem very similar in terms of features and capability.

Ram doesn’t fit? I have my 2021 Ram work truck in my garage, and while I haven’t taken a tape measure to it, it appears to fit exactly the same as my Crewmax. Damn thing rides / drives / sounds like a dream. Makes me want to look at a rebel.

If I were in your shoes and could wait, I'd wait. By the time the 22 shows it's face the gm redesign will be out as well as the others 22 my upgrades. Then you'll be able to choose between 21's and 22's and HOPEFULLY the chips start getting caught up bringing in more inventory and relieving prices.

I will say that if you were on your way to buy a fully loaded at4, you won't like a 21 tundra interior and I'm really suprised you're considering a Titan. I can't stand the one we have at work. It's got 50k on it sounds like every bolt and screw is loose on it when you hit a bump, the steering is loose, and it's sounds like a damn diesel due to manifold leaks.

I rented a Rebel a few times. Loved every minute of it. My Tundra is paid off and my next truck will probably be a 3/4 ton. If I was in the market for a 1/2 ton I would look at a gently used Rebel and buy the extended warranty.

I haven't physically brought it here, but according to the specs it's longer than the AT4 I brought in by 1.2 inches and the AT4 had an ass hair on each end of space to close the garage door. 231.7 vs 232.9.

I considered it when it had value. There was a loaded P4x for $50k a month ago. Pano rood, bed utility, step bars, 360 camera, heated/ vent seats, blind spot, rear cross traffic, etc. It had good value at $50k and I considered it. But my run with nissans in the past and for some reason I can't get past the looks of it lol. But now that they are $56-58k there's absolutely no value there.

Things must be different in the US because here you used to have to go up to a $60k CAD ($50K USD) Titan just to get heated seats (and not much else). I can't imagine what they're asking for the top trims now.

I think that's what I'm going to do. Unless I get a stupid deal and trade allowance in the mean time. I'm not going to order anything at MSRP. That's just ridiculous inflation. My lease isn't up until January and I'll prob buy it out. It's a 2018 CRV AWD EXL I got the lease for $23k and the buyout is $18k at the end. If I don't get into something at the end of the year I will just pay my $275 a month and buy it out at the end and just hold it until I find something. I've been upside in value since day one so I should be in a good position. And if the used market dumps by january I can just turn the damn thing in lol

As far as the interior, for the 21 Tundra I don't mind the "age." It's functional and everything is actually pretty laid out well. Yeah some plastic and hard surfaces are abundant.

Amen. Logical side of me says to wait. But the impulse shopper in me says fk your facts get a truck . I have a 4 year old son who loves trucks and asks me daily to get one and his favorite was the Tundra with the roll down. He's the reason I would consider now. YOLO right?

YOLO is correct, within reason! I own 4 vehicles and a motorcycle so....I tend to YOLO. They're paid for though. Otherwise, I do not YOLO.

Yes, they are. I've been tempted to get one as well. We off-road in Land Cruisers out in Moab but those UTV's look fun too! The wife isn't as thrilled with getting one but I can't blame her. Moab is about 110 degrees right now and the Land Cruiser AC is ice cold. LOL. And, I'm leery to buy a used UTV. They've all been beaten on.

Sorry if I missed it. What are the odds the new Tundra and the 3rd gen have the same lug pattern and similar offsets? I have a 2020 and being able to swap the wheel tire package over would be awesome. I know the suspension will be new and should be.
