I got a 21 Powerboost and got 3k off MSRP, and xplan pricing. Didn't get to pick my truck, as it was a dealer trade and the last f150 for months in Northern Nevada that wasnt already pre-bought.

The current 5 lug system sucks. Almost nobody makes wheels for the Tundra because everything else with 5 lugs is much smaller.

That would push me to buy now if I needed a truck and GM was on my short list.

If I hadn't written General Motors off on principle, I would likely have looked real hard at their 3/4 ton gassers. Of the Domestics, I think they have the best reliability and that was my number one priority. The GMCs are pretty sharp looking trucks, not gonna lie.

Yea, GM is the only domestic that I’d consider. Don’t trust Ford and will never touch a Dodge again. Dodge could’ve killed my family when the wheel literally broke off.

Ford can be trusted and are very clearly pushing the envelope. More so, this 14th Gen f150 is a more evolutionary design, and the eco boost has been fine tuned for a decade now.

There are different sizes and 6Volt, 12Volt and XL with 24Volt. Prices seem to be $250±, $430± and $700± respectively.

You trust things very easily then. I work with Ford's and every 3 weeks (5 to 8000 km in that time) it has to go into the shop for something while I'm on my days off. And this isn't just on high mileage trucks, my latest one is at 45k kms and has a failing fuel pump. The more time I spend around Ford's the more I'm pushed away from them. I wish you luck with yours, but your 1 experience is a drop in the bucket compared to those of us who have experience with 100's of fleet trucks.

I remember when you had a down payment on another F150 and then on a Tremor F250…you instantly started bad mouthing Toyota and praising Ford both times until you cancelled the orders.

I agree that Ford is pushing the envelope, and this is good for competition, but they’re doing it at the expense of reliability. Apparently, the average truck buyer doesn’t seem to care, as they’ll just trade in every few years.

Yeah, he's just one of those guys that has the mindset of "whatever I have is the best and don't you dare try to fucking argue with me or have a different opinion on it." A living breathing hypocrite who sits on a pedestal made of his own ego.

Is that just because you drive a Ford now instead of a tundra? The ecoboost still has issues even 10 years into the life cycle. I’ve driven 4 fords and 3 of them were turds.

Before I purchased my Tundra (but after my F150 starting having issues lol), I talked to a friend who was a vehicle fleet manager for an oil company working out of Canada somewhere. I asked him about the reliability of the vehicles they use. He did lead off by saying that with any of the vehicles, considering the ridiculous mistreatment they go through, obviously some of the fit-n-finish stuff (dashes, kick panels, etc.) would break early on. He did say Ram interiors didn't hold up anywhere near as well as GMC/Ford.

He told me that GMC/Ford were essentially #1 and #2, in that order, and they were so close as to be statistically insignificant - e.g., if 89 out of 1000 GMCs had an issue, 98 out of 1000 Fords would have an issue. Ram/Dodge was a distant third. I asked him if they had any Tundras; he said they had 20 or 30 or so, but not anything near the # of vehicles they had. I asked him if they'd had any issues.

His response? "I'll let you know when we do." LOL

no, I wouldn't have gone ford if I didnt believe in them the most out of the domestics. I steer clear of GM products and would never own a Stellantis. Ford and Toyota. Always.

Funny enough, they only seem to do that on the Tundra. The 4Runner Pro colors are only on the Pros. If they did them on the later model years, I would very likely be in a Cavalry Blue 2019/2020 4Runner instead of a Tundra.

SOOOOOOO glad they don't, because I love my Tundra.

Def not the average truck buyer, but as you can see from my past orders, I only focus on Ford and Toyota. Mostly Toyota. I need a new truck every few years for tax reasons. I didnt feel like getting another Tundra, and needed a 2021 write off.

It seems like Toyota picks and chooses when to offer pro colors. Both the Tundra and Tacoma get the pro colors on the standard trims more often then the SUV's but you can get a 2021 army green 4runner
