Just picked this up and love it. AREX Delta M gen 2. For the money, this is a phenominal handgun. Bonus factor.... It fits in some of my G19 holsters.

What are your thoughts? Pros? Cons?
I carry an XDm 3.8 45 right now but am looking at the same set up you have.

personally I’m not dropping SAA money on a gun I won’t shoot or carry often

I have a 1912 SAA in 38spl already with a Colt letter…no need for a second one at the prices they command

I really like it. It’s a little bigger than what I carried before so that took me a minute to get use to. I was carrying the Glock 27 but swapped to this. I think if you swap you’ll love it. Such a smooth shooting gun.

It must be nice to have one already, but the SAA along with the FNA 57 are the last two pistols I want, don't need or want anymore pistols. Wow can't believe I just said that!

My great grandfather bought it new, then passed it to my grandfather who passed it to my mother

There are still a lot of pistols I want but because I own a gun store I don't jump on just anything...I will wait out the right piece for the right price

I missed a 1918 Colt 1911 yesterday because I didn't go into the shop and a lady brought in her late husband's pistol to sell and my employee bought it

Did someone say FN 57? I know it's not for everyone, but I've grown fond of the round. Looking forward to the days where it's affordable again.

Top one is a CMMG MK57. Had to pick that one up "for my wife".

Check the build link in my signature.
I’ve played around with it but just didn’t fall in love. Lots more options for it now than 15 years ago though. Buddy had an AR57 6” upper and a lower with a giggle switch and I had just bought a can…damn that was a fun and expensive afternoon. But loading those magazines was a PAIN!

LOL bet you could put a down payment on a boat now for the ammo you shot that day. The round becomes more fun suppressed, extremely quiet but still packs a punch. I enjoy shooting 223 a lot more, but this one gets the wife/kids out shooting which makes shooting more fun.

Next time out I'm going to have her try the SCAR. Will report back on how that goes.

Yeah that was me, I want a 57 so bad, but as you know procuring ammo for it will be a problem for some time as well as everything else...

I don't think this ammo situation will last forever. People are always saying "this time is different", then it resets. Although the price resets have been creeping up, we should see lower prices before too long here. When that happens, just remember to stock up for the next time.

I tried the Ruger 57 out of curiosity. Instantly didn’t like it. Too skinny and felt cheap. Love the feel of the FiveseveN personally.

Greatly appreciate the opinion, I just need the ammo price to go down, I haven’t shot my FiveSeven and my PS90 in over a 1 1/2.
