Interesting, I see that CrewMax says available in LR, but not Double Cab. Who knows what "not available" even means.

I got offered 60K by a dealer for mine- I paid $1k under MSRP so I'm thinking of selling mine if I can line up to buy another one at/under MSRP.

 

No, the dealership that i ordered mine from had the dbl cab allocation last month. It is a 2021 trd pro but in magnetic gray.If you are interested in it pm and i can give you his info

 

Took the Pro to the Volcano yesterday!

Ha! My bad. I simply read volcano and assumed st Helen's. You'd think I'd know with Rainier in my view literally every day of my life.

2022 4runner will have Lunar Rock again (tsk tsk tsk), and now you can order Tacoma Trail edition in Lunar Rock , 2022 Tundra may not have special color since Sequoia will be a 2023MY, the Electric Lime still may be on the menu.

I think Double Cab will end production soon as well.

 

What's the story with the RCTA and parking sensors on the TRD Pro? I've seen pictures of Pro's with parking sensors. The spec sheets indicate this isn't available on the Pro trim...

Also, are TRD sway bars included in the Pro trim?

 

CANADA spec TRD Pro have BSM/RCTA and parking sensors. US spec ones do not have it as an option or standard equipment.

TRD sway bars are not part of the standard equipment. It’s arguable you don’t want anti-sway bars on a vehicle that you would want increased suspension flex on.

 

Not even a non-TRD sway bar up front?

 

Nope - it is a standard black factory front sway bar.

 

OK, so the Pro does come with a sway bar up front.

 

Sway bar, yes. But the the TRD sway bar - it’s the same standard one on all the tundras (except maybe the sport package? - don’t quote me on that though).

 

Lunar is too cool not to keep, that electric lime is something else…

Looks like the Pro option is available in Gulf States region again..

 

So quick update - Toyota Dealer called me yesterday to inform me that they have ordered me new wheels.

Dammit! My biggest fear is someone else will take my baby off the road and I'll never be able to replace her.

 

Yea, she’s gonna be off the road for a bit. Now to deal with insurance and adjusters and all that drama. Ugh.

 

Claim diminished value.

 

OUCH! That sucks. That is my biggest fear too...I've just about got it where I want it, and having some asshat take me out would be a bad day.

 

That does remind me that I need to round up receipts for all my add-ons and get them added to my coverage though.

 

Total noob on insurance claims, here. What is diminished value and how would I file for it? I’ve had one claim when I was in my early 20’s and the JAG office helped me file it (almost 30 years ago).
