When you vote on a tire, please list what you voted for and the type (M/T, A/T, model type)

@Bob can you expand the number of poll selections, please?

#1 Grappler M/T's. #2 would be DuraTracs. Love the M/T's so far and I had a very good experience with the DuraTracs

I love my trail graps. haven't had anything else though but from research these tires for what they are aren't as expensive as some of the other M/T styles I looked into. got some road noise but they grip great in mud, snow, wet roads. I have no complaints.

Toyo Open Country M/Ts. Second truck I've had them on now and I absolutely love their performance off road and on. Just bring your wallet.

My brand isn't there. Federal Couragia MTs. Lasted longer than any other brand that I have had. Awesome look and grip too!

    Nitto Trail Grappler, MT.

The poll is confusing. Is the poll on the brand of the tire or is it on the specific tire? Are Toyo OC MT and Toyo OC AT, etc., all grouped together under Toyo? Isn't the official name for DuraTrac "GoodYear Wrangler DuraTrac"? What if you like Nitto Exo Grappler? etc.

You can add the 2 Toyo votes that were there back in. I can't vote any more and my (plus someone else's) votes are gone now. :bananadead:

I was the third vote for Nitto Trail Grappler and now the Nitto's count is zero. Maybe we are not giving you mods enough time to fix the bug.

ATM running the stock Michelin's. They seem like great tires since I don't offroad much.

BFG AT's here, and where I have tried others in the last 25 years, I always seem to go back to them. Even went to the MT's and TT's, but found them to cause more issues than they fix. Lots of sharp rocks here, but terrain can vary as well, and I tow, so a tire that does it all also has some tough sidewalls, and very good on road manners is a good thing.

Nitto count is still zero. Does that mean that voting restarted? (I along with at least two others voted for Nitto) Multiple voting (actually any kind of voting) is not permitted for me.

Open M/T 's are highly regarded and a tire I would definitely consider. I also like Good Year Kevlar M/Ts. Not cheap either. 10 ply, load range E Grappler M/Ts can also be very pricey.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
I chose Goodyear because i am a fan of the Duratrac.
Also chose Nitto because i had them on my Tacoma previously and i liked them. Not issues.

I had a set of Firestone Destination AT on my last Tacoma, had 40,000 miles on them when I traded the truck, probably had another 5000 miles left in them. they were rotated every 5000 miles faithfully and tire pressure checked and adjusted as needed. Good in snow and mud, and fairly quiet on blacktop. They were highly rated on Tire Racks evaluation page, thats what influenced my purchase. I would buy another set in a heartbeat.
