A shot of Kroil and a wait of an hour or so and it'll come right out with a standard ratchet. If it's that far out, add a little Kroil, screw it back in, wait, and unscrew it easily.

I got my ditch light brackets form @sdhq_offroad they are the lowest one's in my opinion cause I didn't want a bracket that was super high in reference to the hood. I know rago's brackets are good but the sit a little higher but I love my sdhq's and would not put anything else on. Hope that helps.

Hooke Road found on eBay. Got the set front/rear plus 6 lights and 4 D-rings included for $950. That was back in December of last year though. Prices are probably higher now.

Was it shipped in 3 pieces? Front then both sides,or as one whole unit?

12” Bulletproof Lift, AFE CAI, AFE Exhaust, rock lights, Fas-Top tonneau and soft topper, Dasaita 10.2” radio, light bar, ditch lights, LED headlights and fog lights, LED interior lights, Amp Research rear bumper step, dashcam, BT ODBII reader and Torque app on radio
Last week or so I installed the Dasaita 10.2” Android Radio.

I also found out that the previous owner had a Viper alarm/remote start installed. I just never got the key fob other than the OEM. Ordered a key fob replacement and programmed it this afternoon. Saves me a couple hundred dollars as that was going to be on my list before winter!

Anybody have pics of Rad Rubber Design splash guards installed? The instructions leave something to be desired, and can’t find pics of em on a Tundra to save my life.

I just had to pull that same radiator out of my truck last Saturday. 20 months and less than 25k miles and it sprung a leak right where the tube welds to the lower tank. It couldn't be fixed and Koyorad said it only had a 1 year warranty. For $400 it really should have lasted much longer than it did.
The OEM radiator lasted 12 years and 175k miles so I saved myself $150 and just put an OEM radiator back in it.

I hope you have better luck with yours.

I hope it lasts a long time as well.

On a side note, when I removed the upper radiator hose from the original radiator 1/2 the stem came off with the hose. The plastic was disintegrating so i caught an issue before it happened.

Here’s what was done on the vehicle:

New AC condenser (original issue but figured do everything while I’m in there)
    New AISIN Water Pump
    New AISIN Fan Support Bracket
All new o rings and Nylog Blue sealant
    New KOYO Aluminum Radiator
2.5 gallons new Coolant Zerex Asian Toyota Equivalent (additive free good for 100k miles…$11.99 gallon on sale versus Toyota $30
New HPS Blue Hi Temp Silicone Hoses
New AISIN Thermostat and Thermostat Housing
    New TRD Front Sway Bar

I wound up No extra parts or bolts!!

Test driving today all looks well!!

Forgot only 1 small clamp but that’s all! It was a silver clamp,on a silver pipe easy to hide from searching eyes. I just squeezed it open and moved it down into place. It spurt coolant a little but i fixed it right up!

Now to keep an eye on things over the next week or two,and hope the antifreeze burns off the motor so it won’t stink so long lol

    Hopefully all is good!

    Thanks for posting those pics.
I need to RR my idler pulley and tensioner, as well as belt.
I might just do the water pump while it's all apart
Now I can see what will be involved.

The idler pulley and tensioner are simple. The tensioner is a 12mm bolt on the bottom and a 6mm Allen head in the center. The idler roller pulley on top right of the engine by the valve cover is a 14mm bolt.

That is much simpler than what I did

You don’t have to remove everything like I did. The only reason I did remove everything was because the original issue was a leaking AC condenser and it all had to be removed anyways.

it took me about a solid 12-14 hours doing everything but that’s because I had not done the job before and I was not going to rush. I had headphones on with music and a headlamp on my head.

Not a big upgrade, but well worth it. Replaced gas pedal assembly. Sparks Parts is the man! Ordered 04000-0440C for $30 (plus $15 shipping) and received the new 78110-0C012 which is going for $130 - $145.

What a difference this pedal makes. Before, easy accerleration unleashed a bucking bull. Now it's so smooth. I hit 3 speed bumps at 25 mph, kept my foot steady and speed never varied, stayed at 25 all the way. Before, coming off the speed bumps the speed
would jump up to 30 or so. The previous owner took this in for the recall and was happy with the shim and shave job.

Changed all 4 tires to Michelin LTX M/S2 in stock size. Had one TPMS broke so got it replaced. Another was low battery so I'll deal with it when the TPMS light comes on. Tire dude showed me a crack on my air suspension bag so I may bring it to a mechanic to have it checked out.

Definitely something I should look into. My trucks' pedal is just too sensitive. Please let us know if your gas mileage improves after you get a couple tanks under your belt.

Bought the new spark plugs from Advance Auto Parts at the end of 2019 when they had a discount. Got 8 for $60. Finally went to replace spark plugs today. Not too bad. First time doing it. Was a little nervous about it but when I was actually doing it, was pretty easy. It was refreshing to work on the car without having to be on my back looking up at the underside. There were a few tight spots but nothing too difficult. Did not know when, if ever, the spark plugs were changed but was coming up to 120K miles so it was time. Looks like the rear 2 plugs had some oil when I was taking it out.

Best deal I’ve seen is from lithiatoyotaparts.com for $215 shipped.

I personally bought mine from Amazon for $255 but I had a $100 Amazon gift card as well

A couple of weeks ago I dropped the transmission pan and replaced the filter screen with an aftermarket unit. At the time I wasn't real happy about the new filter. The flange was a lot shorter than the OEM filter. I buttoned it up and it seemed to be fine, but in the back of my mind I kept thinking "what if"? So, I coughed up the coin and installed a new OEM filter. Now I can sleep at night.
