Trying to make sure I only have to do his once please advise if you know. Looking at buying a C4 overland bumper on the site says will except Warn, Smittybilt and Come up winches.

I would like to use a 12k Badlands winch. Seems to be smaller than the Warn, the only thing that I can't figure out is the bolt pattern. I would like to assume that the manufacturer's would all use the same bolt pattern so people could use their winch on any off road bumper.

Do you think I would be wrong to assume that when it comes to bolting up the winches manufacturer's have a universal bolt up pattern?

    Please advise.

Same pattern which is the equivalent with Warn. The Badlands may require to relocate the control box. Is the Badlands you are referring to the new low profile?

The Badlands model is the Apex which you can take control panel off. 529.00

    The Smittybilt X2O. 720.00
    Warn VR-EVO 875.00

All 12k all have synthetic rope.

That Apex is getting darn good reviews. I had a X20 10K on my 07 which was nice. I recently took off my Ranch Hand grille. Time to get a winch bumper and winch. The Apex is high on my list. High...

I think I will order the C4. I. Like the looks and fuction. Anything that looks better does not seem to have access to the gears of the winch.

The Badlands will bolt right on. You probably will need to relocate the control module.

I'm fairly certain that a member here has used that Apex with the C4. Don't quote me on that, but maybe another member who did will chime in! Nevermind...see above ^^^^^ ha!

What do you need access to the gears for when it’s mounted?
If your referring to the clutch lever access, most all winches can be “clocked” so you can have that lever wherever you need it.

This is on my runner out in the driveway with a home built C4 inspired hybrid bumper. I clocked the clutch lever 90 forward so I don’t have to reach my entire paw into the hole to reach it on top. It’s fairly easy to do, and I put synthetic grease in while I had it open 2B6FFDE6-7D9E-42A5-84B0-DAA48CA2E3AD.jpg24B3936C-A3DE-4363-9F64-91DCDAC46196.jpg
